What are some funnys your kids say?

My mom asked my 2 year old how old I was on my birthday Saturday and he response was "very very old"

She just told me her nose smells so I asked what her ears do and she responded, "don't listen to daddy".
Which is absolutely true she's a brat around daddy.

We're only a few weeks into potty training my 2 1/2 year old so it's pretty novel to her. Part of our training included talking about all the people who go on the potty chair and how great it is. When I pick her up from daycare she now likes to give me a rundown of the day, "Liam went on the potty, yay! Lilly went on the potty, yay! Roo went on the potty, yay! Miss Sara went on the Potty, yay!" Etc Etc.

I'm quite informed of everyone's potty successes.

We are in the middle of potty training she was completely potty trained for like 2 weeks then bam one day she refused. We are getting back into it now and some days she won't so she will tell me " my butt hurts because I have a little rash, I need a diaper"
She even refuses to let me change her diaper.... She has to do it herself. It's infuriating that she can change her diaper and won't potty regularly.

But she's cute!

I used to babysit for a family of 6 kids, and one day one of the twins (who was around 4 at the time) noticed my tiny music note tattoo on my hand and proceeded to ask why I colored on myself. He then tried to wash it off my hand with soap and water and when his mom came home said "Mommy, K colored on herself and it won't come off so it must've been with permanent marker." His mom and I both giggled because he was so concerned

@Katieluc106, I'm terrified of the PT relapses that are sure to come especially when baby arrives. Roo is doing so well right now for being only a few weeks in but I know there are ups and downs.

But yeah, the cuteness factor helps everything and your LO is definitely a cutie! Love her big blue eyes!

At my shower on Sunday:

DH's friend's extremely mischievous 10-y-o upon hearing that my baby kicks a lot: Right now she's naughty. But when she comes out she won't be. I should know, I'm an expert.

My son says a lot of interesting things so I keep a Twitter just to record those times. He's awesome.

Since starting to potty train DD she has sort of discovered her lady bits. Sometimes when she wakes up in the morning or after a nap I'll hear her yell "mommy, I playing with my lady bits!"

Me: yes
Kid: ok good. Because if you didn't I was gonna say you're eating too much.

So many profound things come out of my 2 1/2 year old daughters mouth I don't even know where to start. Talking has always been her favorite thing and she has said some pretty hilarious things. One of my favorites is how she wakes up; "mooooommmmmyyyy! It's time to wake uuuuup! (In a tiny sing songy voice) it's a BEAUTIFUW day mommy! I had a good sleep and it's not dark anymore!" She says something to that effect every morning and I don't know where she got it but it's adorable.
