First Day of Summer Vacation, and...

My kids and his friends break someone's front window with a water balloon. Oh, crap!

So he's grounded until I'm no longer embarrassed. He'll have to pay 1/3 of the replacement cost (since there were 3 kids). And he'll take whatever punishment the owner (a state patrolman) dishes out.

I'm so mad right now!

    Oh no! Great start to the summer. I am kinda laughing because the first day of spring break in April my son got brought home by the cops because he was at a friends house (no one else was home) and got a BB gun and shot it in the yard. Needless to say the police showed up. Oh the joys of kids! Good luck to you. Hugs.

    As the story unfolds, it wasn't just one water balloon. All three boys were throwing them at the girls inside the house. The parents will all get together tonight so no one gets a harsher punishment than the others.

    Just wish my boy had used his noggin before the window broke. We've told him to stay away from windows...

    Schools in Nebraska are generally out before Memorial Day. We homeschool, so my son's been done for a week already, but the neighbor kids finished at 11 today.
