Hey! I have a 100% fool proof way to absolutely beyond a shadow of a doubt know if you have a boy or a girl!

First, you wait about 40 weeks, then you have a lot of contractions, then, you push a watermelon out of what started out as a coin slot. After that, someone will tell you "It's a ____." Now you know for certain. Congratulations. I think it's printed on the bottom of them when they come out, but I can't be sure.

While I understand what you're saying, I don't understand the general negative reaction toward gender-related games and old wives tales. We all know they're just for fun. If people want to play they can play.

Some of it is also a girl I know due in September had her a/s and paid for an elective one, too. The OB has it on file that she is having a boy and the elective people told her girl. She's bent out of shape because she thinks the OB is right and she's having a second boy. She's b!tching about it via text and FB to me.

Anatomy scans aren't always right, either. It's not just OWT. Really the only fool proof way to be 100% team whatever is to birth the child.

I think some panties need to get untwisted. The OWT are just for fun, although I would mock hard core if someone was all "I can't raise my arms over my head or my baby will choke on his cord!"

Living proof we were told girl by two ultrasounds well HE is not! LOL I'm shocked at how much stock people put in u/s especially people who know me and our story.

Haha THANK YOU @TLGBaby2. Mostly I was trying to be funny, with a slight emphasis on "You can't be sure until the baby comes out" but apparently some of the moms decided I had gotten my knickers in a wad. I'm glad a few more of you found it entertaining.

Although, I suppose if we have to get technical, somewhere between 1 and 1500 and 1 and 2000 births, there is atypical formation down there and I guess you're still out in the dark...
