Not TTTC: Anyone have a good baked brie recipe?

I am looking for one w/o any kind of fruit in it.

Thanks! :)?

  • I  just wrap a brie circle with croissant pastry (the kind that comes in a tube, I think Pillsbury makes it) and bake it according to the pastry cooking instructions. I usually spread some jam on the brie before wrapping it or on top after baking, but since you want it without fruit, just skip the jam.

  • I have a really simple one: spread hotand sweet mustard over the brie rind and sprinkle chopped peanuts and chopped green onion over it.  Then put in the oven or microwave.
  • My cousin just sprinkles brown sugar and walnuts on it and then bakes it in the oven.

  • I take a wheel (even a small one will work) and cut it and thirds (like layer cake).  In between the layers I put brown sugar and sliced almonds then wrap in Pillsbury crescent roll dough. Brush dough with an egg (sometime I use the extra dough to make a design on top and I am NOT crafty).  Bake until brown about 20-25 minutes at 350 degrees.

You could also skip the nuts.
