bad day

It is just a bad day, that's all, and this is the only place I can rant. My first IVF failed a few weeks ago, and I know I must/will do the second one in early July. I think I am just depressed. Today I went to my acupuncture session and came out feeling worse than going in. It was because I was thinking constantly about IVF during the session. I feel like everything is a waste of time and money, and nothing will work out. I retested my AMH last week after 5 months. It dropped from 0.7 to 0.43. I am very upset about it. If it is going to drop at the same speed I feel like won't be able to get pregnant at all in a few months. Why should this be so hard?

((hugs)) So sorry. Have you tried taking D3 supplements? Some women have found AMH increases after that.

Everyone on this board goes through different daily struggles, but in the end, we all want the same things. And I agree with everyone who's posted above me - IF sucks - it sucks big time.

Good luck on your future cycles. I hope tomorrow is easier than today, and so on and so on.

I feel like IF needs so stop digging it's ugly claws into us and allow some happiness in!!

I was just having the discussion with DH about life in general, and I said, everything can't come easily for everyone. At times like this I have to remember all the other things in my life that are going right! I'm having a pretty craptastic IF day too, so you aren't alone.

All I can do is offer you my support, and creepy internet (((HUGS))).

I'm sorry. this all sucks big time. It's like some days you can push forward and be hopeful and the next day everything seems hopeless. it ebbs and flows. I was in the April snuggle bunnies group too and this was my first IVF that failed as well, so I really do feel your pain.

I haven't figured out why any of us have to go through all of this when so many people can get pregnant so easily. Some days it makes me a very angry person. All I do know is that in order to endure what we all endure on a daily basis, we are stronger and braver than we ever imagined we could be.

Thank you all! It is a blessing to have all of you supporting each other. I wish that we never were on this forum and could conceive naturally. Alas that is not possible. Everything is a struggle.

@kittenmittens9 I completely agree with you. It just amazes me to see how people get pregnant by "accident" while we spend thousands of dollars, hours and hours, and psychological breakdowns etc. I think one reason I am feeling down today was that at the community acupuncture I am going I was the only one with needles on my belly, and the other three people in the room were just getting comfort during their third trimester. Sigh!

@Sha259 I agree with you. Nothing comes easy and we need to be happy about other things we have. I usually have the same attitude. I am grateful that we have the resources to be able to do IVF. I am grateful that I have a supportive DH and family. I am grateful about my job. I am usually grateful as you can see, but today is not one of those days. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

@cls78 and @dp21 Thank you for always being supportive. @dp21 is moving to a different forum and I am super excited for her. @cls78 is having her FET this weekend and hopefully these are her last weeks in this forum before she moves to a different forum with her baby. I just want to use this opportunity to say thank you!

And thank you everyone else as well. We probably will never meet in person but I am thankful for having you around. Hope your journey in this forum is short.

I am so sorry you are having a tough day. {{{hugs}}} IF completely sucks and it isn't fair. Not only is it financially draining, but it is so emotionally draining and taxing too.

Rant away. IF sucks. I also can't seem to grasp when it's a total accident for people. While I was starting my IVF cycle, an intern at my office was pregnant. Of course she didn't know what I was going though,but as I was congratulating her she replied "I don't even know how I got pregnant. We barely had sex that month." And here I am up to my bloodwork, vaginal ultrasounds, injections, bills and breakdowns. I don't think I even responded to her.

Life doesn't always seem fair. Please know I am thinking of you. I know you will get though another fresh cycle. You are a strong woman. ::hugs::

I'm so sorry. I would recommend having your Vitamin D levels checked. I had mine checked last year and mine was pretty low. I finally got it up in September and my AMH went from 0.7 to 2.7... although I'm on so many supplements, who knows if it was just the Vitamin D.
