@Bookshelves sorry I didn't answer your question. I did go to the Picasso museum- I loved it. My friend that I was traveling with is not a big Picasso fan so I tried to to dwell too long. I agree with you. I find his work more interesting after seeing how well he painted classically.

Any local charity that helps children or abused women/children. I once did a silent auction with my afterschool kiddos and their artwork. We raised over $1000 for a local children's hospital. That was the highlight of working at that particular job. The kids were so blown away that they raised all that money it made me so proud of them. Seeing their little faces light up when I told them bought their work... I cried.

We're in remodel mode, so it's a mash up of destruction-chic, wallpaper madness, with a touch of too-much-junk.
LO's room is the only room finished. We like in a old craftsman home, so it's like that + ikea.

And there is an artist name Chris Jordan that did a series called "Running the Numbers" and one of the pieces is Seurat's "A Sunday on La Grande Jatte" in aluminum cans. His description: "Depicts 106,000 aluminum cans, the number used in the US every thirty seconds." I saw it in person at was CRAZY and repulsive. All of his work is kind of amazing.

I thought I'd have my life together at this point- in some aspects I do. I thought I'd be done having kids by now (HAHAHAHA). I imagined having a career in journalism, which I obviously do not. But when people asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up I always said, "happy".. and in that case I am living up to my goal- in multitudes. I am incredibly happy and incredibly blessed.
I would tell younger me not to be a doormat. And to listen to my mother. And to stop being a stress case. Maybe I should tell my current self.
My diet evolves constantly. I was vegan for awhile before my pregnancy which I loved. I started eating salmon for the nutrients, and I love it, plus it makes me feel better.
I will eat chicken every once in a blue moon, but I do have a lot of guilt eating meat/animal products.
So long story short- no not really because I eat salmon regularly.
Also yes, I do love tofurkey. I refuse to eat red meat or any kind of sausage product- barf- so tofurkey is a good substitute for extra flavor.

Bahaha I WISH I was a clean-freak. I'm somewhat clean. I'd say our house can be messy, but there's a difference between messy and dirty.
I am incredibly picky about organization, however. And once this effing remodel is over [-O< I will care a lot more about how my home looks.

I have a studio in my home. I would love to have a detached studio with big open walls and a glass garage door. I would love ample storage space. Concrete floors meant for messes. Natural light. Giant sinks. Heat. Ladders. Empty white space. *le sigh*
