This. And I guess that would depend on what kind of doppler you have. It is my understanding that most home dopplers won't hear anything until later on but you said you are 100% sure so I guess it is possible? 6 weeks is probably too early to hear baby's heartbeat. Like PP mentioned, I had my first appt with DD at 10 weeks and my OB couldn't even find her heartbeat on a doppler so we had to have an u/s. There she was, heart beating away.
You are probably hearing your own heartbeat. Which yes you can hear low in your abdomen.
