Tuesday workout!

I did it!  I got up and exercized depsite the fact that my kid kept me up until almost 2:00.  The alarm went off at 5:20, and I only took 2.5 snoozes, up from my normal 2, lol.  Got in a decent full body/cardio workout, great healthy meals planned for the day. 

How is everyone else doing today?

  • I'm probably not doing anything since me and the kids are sick. Good news is I don't have an appetite.

  • I overslept again (you're all shocked, I know). I didn't even hear my alarm. I was just planning to do Sworkit core and upper body, so I can do it this evening.

    I was cranky and tired last night so skipped the gym, but I did my normal 1/2 walk into work and shaved off 5mins off the normal 30mins it takes me and this afternoon at lunch I plan on walk/jog.  I haven't jogged in about 7yrs so right now it's mainly walking with some jogging thrown in.  LOL

  • My workout isn't until 11:00 but I just checked my trainer's "lesson plan" for today and it looks my group is doing upper body strength and core.
  • @gotgingy I'm okay today, actually. I was hurting last night, though. I thought my knees would never forgive me LOL. I really need to get some new shoes, but in the meantime I'm thinking about picking up some Dr. Scholl's inserts.

  • In one of my dreams I ran all the way from L's school home. In heels. At night. Through a bad neighborhood. Pretty impressive.

    In the real world, no workout today. Let H sleep in and we've got date night tonight. Planning on spending a lot of my day at work on my treadmill, at least.

    Yea, good shoes are so expensive too. I have a few pair of shoes I'm looking at but just can't pull the trigger on spending $100+.

  • I'm supposed to run 3 miles today per my nike running app. I hope I can make it to the gym. Or maybe I can do it at my moms house. The road is better there.

    Do you guys still work out when you're sick? If I went for a run would that make me feel worse? It's just a cold but def feeling shitty.

  • My weight bench and weights are still buried in the garage. You've seen what my garage looks like so that's a negative. Maybe I'll do Sworkit and some strength stuff.
  • Last night I went for a 2 mile walk with my friend, and then did a cardio work out. Tonight is a speed work out. We are going out for lunch today, which is driving my crazy. Iam hoping to have my decision made on what I want to eat based on Calories before we get there.

  • I had a Pilates class this morning, and the child care at the gym was full :(  This has never happened before.  They have another one at 4:30 so I'm going to try to go to that.

  • 30DS this morning.
    Doing ok with weight. I think I looked awesome in February. Was actually a few lbs below pre baby weight. Then I had all sorts of fun life complications and put back on a few pounds. I've been good for the last couple weeks but sometimes I get these migraines that feel a little better while I'm eating. Had 1 yesterday so I just stuffed my face the last hour of work. So far, so good today though!
  • i attended a pilates class today and it kicked my ass.

    i'm kinda sad that i'm leaving my current job because i've lost weight and gained muscle in the short time that i've been there.  soon i'll have to actually go lift weights and shit at the gym.




    however long the night, dawn will break.

  • Did week 6, day 1 of C25k today. Felt great, surprisingly! I'm sort of starting to look forward to the runs. Might be the alone time though since I do them during O's classes and put A in the childcare. But whatever.

  • I trained with my friend and her trainer yesterday. I whined but it was a pretty good workout. Today we did chest and I feel like it was an ok workout but I was tired and we didn't put in our normal 100%.

    So much congestion. Plus I always have a queasy stomach when I have a cold.
