stitch fix #2 review...

not sure if anyone is really interested but I figured I'd post it... My last one I kept 2 tops which I like & have worn both a number of times already. I wasn't sure if I should do it again but as a very petite person, I was impressed w/ how things fit so wanted to give it another go. I am keeping 1 skirt, which I really love, from this shipment but nothing else  The earrings were really interesting but way too big for my face, 2 tops were cute in theory/color/versatility and totally unflattering in reality, and a pair of patterned pants fit me pretty well which was amazing given my height but I just can't go there w/ geometric pants...

So, I think I'll take a break and maybe one day later in the year when I feel like finding something new/different and the wait is maybe shorter to get a shipment I might try it again. Anyone else feeling that way on SF? I guess it was probably a fun fad but not necessarily a 'usual' thing.

    Thanks for the review. I keep wondering whether to try it but I think I'll pass for now.

    Oh geez that is such a bummer...my last one had some things that were colder weather oriented and I did put that I wanted warmer weather items specifically in my feedback but one would think by may (I got mine in late much I think) that would not even be an issue. Leftover stock from winter I suspect but certainly doesn't make someone want to keep using it...!

    I am waiting for #3 and hoping it has a couple things for my beach vacation, which is what I requested. Then I will probably take a break from all clothes shopping until fall or even winter.
    DS born 8/8/09 and DD born 6/12/12.

    my first fix was very ok. i wound up keeping 1 shirt and one pair of skinny jeans that i do like and wear, but didnt NEED. I am giving it one more try with a shipment coming mid june and then will prob cancel.

    I got my first fix a couple weeks ago and was very happy with it!  I'm pregnant and was skeptical since they don't carry maternity clothes but did end up keeping two shirts and a cardigan that I am very happy with.  I will definitely try it again but likely won't do the monthly thing as that could get REALLY expensive!  Probably will do it a couple times a year.
