Beware the Claws of Doom!

LO continues to scratch and hit my chest when he's ready to feed.  This started a few weeks ago.  No one warned me about this cue and it is particularly disconcerning to wake up to for late night feedings lol.
I started using mittens last weekend..

    Even when they're short they still hurt and that doesn't stop the hitting.

    My LO does this now and also claws at my nipples when I am getting my SNS set up! Ouch. It is my cue to trim her nails, which I haven't done yet, I've been filing them but I need to move to clipping I think as she's 2 1/2 months old now.

    My lo does this. It's my cue to trim nails and as for the hitting, I use my free hand to just hold her hand while she eats. I thinks it's just another phase cuz now that I think about it I don't think she has scratched all week
