Counting forward - Amused

Sooo... anyone ever count forward three months to figure out when babies were conceived (I know this is a very general, round-about estimate)? I work for a newspaper and I just wrote up the most birth announcements I've had in the last few months, and three months from now would put us right around Fair Week (County Fair is in our town first two weeks of August). I'm not sure why I'm so amused by this, LoL.

    My MIL is a counselor at our local Pregnancy center, and she has a pregnancy wheel.  A few years ago, she took it and counted back to try to find conception dates for all 4 of her kids - they were all holidays! One Halloween, one Christmas, one Anniversary, one St. Patty's day.  It was so funny!

    I count forward when people announce to try to figure out how "early or late" they are in their pregnancy (if they don't say).

    BFP #1: 4/2/12 -- DD born 12/15/12. BFP #2: 4/1/14 -- CP. BFP #3: 4/28/14 -- EDD 1/10/15

    My daughter was conceived around Thanksgiving.

    This baby was conceived on Cinco de Mayo... well, sex was two days before that.

    ETA: this baby was conceived because of timing... I knew it was time to HIO, so that's what we did.

    I count back 3 months too!  For mine though I know it was while we were on vacation.  We've been calling it "vegas" until we find out if it's a boy or girl :)

    For others, just as a novelty. I've only had one or two announcements every week for the last two months, and this week I have 12, so I was like, whoa, where did this baby boom come from? So I estimated three months out, and boom. Fair week. Just thought it was kinda funny

    Hey, fairs can be pretty sexy. All of those corn dogs and cotton candy... Oh yeah! ;)

    DS was right around St. Patricks day and this one was from a night at the winery. We were joking we should name her (if it's a girl) Chardonel bc that's what we were drinking.
