New thread AW: BFP! 2nd Beta update :)

HELLO!!!

I want to shout from the rooftops: we have a positive beta test! 134!

I am overjoyed and so is DW. She was in at 8:20 this morning and we waited and waited and waited. The clinic called me because DW works in sensitive stuff, and so I could relay as needed. The nurse was kind of measured at first and my heart dropped, but then she told us it is 134! And everything looks great! DW's progesterone levels are good (we do injectables, plus she uses the inserts when she has to work late), which means she is absorbing everything well. She is to stay on all the drugs until we hear more. My poor DW has been working late (like, 16 hour days), so it feels like a hurricane of events. I wanted to tell the nurse how proud of my wife I was, that she is pregnant AND a kick-ass worker-bee. I kept my composure and didn't.

Thank you, thank you, thank you all for your well wishes and support. I read them this morning in my anxiety-driven restless-uselessness and it made me cry a little. You are a wonderful, supportive group and your thoughts mean so much to us.

Next test is Monday.
