Maycee's crazy birth story!

I'm a little late doing this but anyway:

May 3rd I suddenly got horribly sick. I figured I had picked up the virus going around work. I went to bed early, woke up at 3a.m. to go to the bathroom. I laid back down and a couple of minutes later I heard a pop, figured I was just hearing something on our baby monitor, DD is sharing a room with baby and has wanted it on for a while because she can talk to us through it.

I soon realized it was my water breaking so I got up and waddled quickly to the bathroom to save my bed. Contractions started almost immediately so I woke up DH (after four times of telling him lets go!)and we headed to l&d because I knew from my last office visit I was already at 4. In the 10 minutes it takes to get there I had already gotten to 5. Got my epidural and tried to relax while I could.

They noticed some changes in contractions and babies heart rate, and I had started feeling them like I had never gotten the epidural, so they checked me again. This was around 9a.m. I was at 9 but baby had flipped and was transverse! Doctor rushed in and we prepped for c section. She was born via c section at 10:06a.m. weighing 7lbs 8oz and was 21 inches long.

There were some problems during the c section so they ended up having to completely knock me out but now all is well and we are both doing good!
