This weekly check-in is for anyone using/considering or who has used a 3rd party method of reproduction, including: Donor egg, donor sperm, embryo adoption, gestation carrier, or surrogate - also Donors, GC's and surrogates as well! If you don't check-in for 4 weeks you'll be removed from the list but we'll happily add you back next time you check in! NOTE: Board etiquette - please post BFPs separately from the check-in, with a warning in message title.

    Hi everyone. Nothing new here. Just waiting for AF to start. We don't have any plans yet for Memorial Day.

    TTC #1 since May 2010

    OE IVF #1  9/2/13 Cancelled- poor response

    DE IVF #1 3/12/14- BFP 3/17/14- ectopic, right tube removed 4/11/14 @ 7 weeks

    DE FET #1 7/3/14-Transferred 2 5AA 6 day embryos Beta 7/13/14 BFN

    DE FET #2 9/5/14-Transferred 2 4BB 5 day embryos Beta 9/15/14 BFN

    DE FET #3 in December- Cancelled, didn't respond to meds

    DE FET #3 (2nd try) 2/13/15- Transferred 1 4BB and 1 4BA 5 day embryos Beta 2/23/15  BFN again (CP)

    DE FET #4 - last 2 frosties....5/22/15- Transferred 1 4BA embryo...only one frostie thawed properly.  Beta scheduled for 6/1-  BFN (beta 2, 2.81, 6, 23, 49.4) 6/15/15 Discovered ectopic in left tube.  Methotrexate given. Moving on to a new donor. Hoping to transfer by the end of the year.

    Cant find a donor that is healthy and available.  Looking at being happy with just the two of us.

    ME:46 MH:44 DE IVF 2014
    Met with RE 4/11. 2 IUI's BFN. DE best option. Switched clinics to do "shared" program. Had to retake all tests and a mamm that put me behind and then on a DE waiting list for 12 months. Picked a donor!! (10/13/13) Got matched. Estimated transfer in December. After 2.5 years of patiently waiting I will finally cycle....can hardly believe it. DE cycle got cancelled. One of her tests came back positive.  Waiting for another donor. Donor picked!! (1/18/14)

    DE IVF #1 (4/26) BFN  DE FET #1 (6/4) BFP! Beta 1=339 Beta 2=852 Beta 3=9957 EDD 2/22/15!!

    GL to everyone. Becky, I am so happy to see you moving forward with the FET. June 4 is fast!! It's also great to see everything going so well for mcMcirish. I have an FET planned for late this week. I'll be hanging low this Memorial Day. First beta is May 31.

    2/12-5/12: 4 IUI cycles = all BFN;
    7/12: DE IVF # 1 (with ICSI)- 20R, 16M, 14F, 5DT of 2 blasts; 6 frosties = BFN;
    Lupus anticoagulant initially high, then found to be normal on hematology consult;
    Follow up testing in September all clear;
    Started synthroid for "high normal" TSH;
    FET # 1- late October 2012- BFP on FRER; beta # 1- 21(low), beta # 2- 48 (still low), beta # 3- 132, beta # 4- 1,293; beta # 5- 5,606; last beta- over 100,000. First u/s 11/21- heard heartbeat
    12/12- Officially an OB patient!
    Level 2 ultrasound at 20 weeks shows vasa previa and VCI
    Referral to MFM and mandatory c section for delivery
    Beautiful baby girl born at 34 weeks
    Finally home after 15 day NICU stay!
    Trying for sibling: FET # 2- May 2014; beta 5/31, BFN
    FET #3, early July 2014; beta 7/14, BFN
    DE IVF # 2- August 2014; 14R, 13M, 11F, 5dt of 2 blasts (3 AA), 5 frosties = BFN
    FET #4- December 2014, yet another BFN

    Dr. KK work up shows borderline uterine blood flow, elevated NK cells, and MTHFR mutation (homozygous for c677t)

    Added baby aspirin, prednisone, supplements, Metanx, and intralipids

    Switched to large clinic for final attempt; had endometrial receptivity testing in January; FET March 2015 = yet another BFN

    Likely OAD- NBC

    Not much going on here. I have ob and mfm appointments tomorrow and hopefully get to schedule my c section. Working on trying to figure out how my short term disability and NJ family leave work for time off. QOTD: I am working on Memorial Day, so no big plans. Hope to get more work done on the nursery this week.
    8/2011: Diagnosed with ovarian cancer, ovaries and tubes removed

    12/2011: Finished chemo

    5/2013: Cleared for DE IVF

    11/13: DEgg IVF#1

    8/5/14: Grace was born!

    Stuck in some weird anovulary cycle.  Waiting to hear from RE as to gameplan.  

    No real decisions yet, H is getting a little more comfortable with the idea we need to use DS.  We have our appointment on Thursday with the therapist.  


    QOTW:  I'm working my per diem job Sat-Sun-Mon for extra $  but only 2 hours each day.  Hoping to get the garden turned and planted and the grill cleaned up so we can cook on it at some point this weekend.

    @jalara48‌ -- no special plan to tell DHs family. I'm not into fanfare at all. It will probably be something like "no, can't drink wine bc the babies don't like it "... I'm totally awkward with anything pregnancy related!! Honestly I'll prob just let DH talk and I'll sit there mute!!!

    Check-In: I go for my six week ultrasound tomorrow! which means I also get my official estimated due date.I only get three ultrasounds in total unless I ask for more, but I don't think I will. My beta level doubling rate has dropped from roughly every 36 hours to every 48, but according to my doctor that's completely fine.

    QOTW: We don't have Memorial Day here, our version is Remembrance Day, and it's not until November. Monday is however,  bank holiday, so I'm off work. I've set up some Skype appointments for Monday with some Icelandic fertility clinics when I'm over there. As for the weekend itself, I'm doing absolutely nothing. I'm so tired all the time, I'll probably just sleep.

    Hello everyone, I'm baaaack!

    Check In: I am now on birth control in getting ready for starting Prostap, and I've also had an allergy testing for all the drugs I'm going to have, and everything came back perfectly fine. Nothing else going on here really, TTC wise.

    QOTW: I'm working on Monday itself, and then me and Valentijn are taking Tove to the cinema. On Saturday we're going menu tasting for the wedding reception, and on I'm picking my boy up! I'm so excited to see him, it's been a very long two weeks, even though I've spoken to him practically every day.

    Sorry I'm checking in late this time around. But it allows me to get everyone's update at once! Congrats to those with great news!! Hugs to those who need them.

    My IP's came a week ago so now I'm in another 2WW. I'm testing Friday, it's early but the longest I can wait. My next cycle is due that Monday or Tuesday. I'm hoping that I'm pregnant this cycle because we need to skip the next two!

    Memorial Day weekend is always when we have my little ones birthday party. She'll be 3 on the 28 but her party is Saturday. My parents are coming from South Dakota for 2 weeks tonight!! Yay!!

    Check-In: Just hanging around, not doing much.  Sister is transitioning job, including a 1 mo position in the Maldive Islands, so am waiting till she gets back and regroups to decide what we're going to do.  Going to try an IVF with my own eggs while waiting, why not I guess - cross that off the fertility bucket list.

    Things are good, although I'm starting to feel a little impatient for my first cycle to get here. About 1 month from today we should be going in for our first DS IUI.

    QOTW: My best friend is coming out to visit! I'm counting the days for Friday to get here and to get her from the airport!

    Twink & Lincoln, I'm so sorry about the bad news. Big hugs :(

    We had a consultation with our original RE today to see about doing a few IUIs before making the move to DEgg. We are going to try a few with my eggs while we wait for our appointment with Dr. KK. I don't really know what to expect out of all this... I have a feeling we're going to be doing DEgg in the end, and I pray it will work for us. I read a few books about DEgg, and I am starting to get excited about the idea. Some days, I feel like we should just do it, and that I'm stalling with these IUIs and going to see the RI. Other days, I am more committed to seeing this plan through. Why isn't there a manual for all this?! ;)

    QOTW: I'm making a great escape for a girls weekend - I am SO EXCITED!!!!

    Tx History: 1 Injects+TI, 5 IUIs, 3 IVFs, 1 FET = all BFN and full of heartbreak
    Plan: Waiting to see if our potential donor is a match for DE IVF #1

    Thank you for including me. I took the time to read everyone's updates but I don't know everyone's story well enough yet to chime in. I "squee'd" with the happy updates and my thoughts are with those waiting. You all are an inspiration and the info you so openly share helps so many (it's given me insight!).

    No updates yet for me. I plan to let A's adoptive parents know at our next visit that I'm officially in with going forward with donating eggs if they end up going that route in a few months. I'm scared that it will get to that point and something will be wrong with my body or schedule that won't let it happen. I'm excited about the prospect of my daughter having a sibling biologically connected, but I hope they end up with a baby genetically linked to them both. Only time will tell which is meant to be!

    Working MD because I'm a nanny/Mommy's helper and the LO's don't rest on holidays :-)

    I was a nanny and remember working holidays too lol. Actually I'm still with the same family...20 years. I started when the oldest was 4 weeks old. Still have me working 11 hr days but obviously not nannying!! Haha. Have a good weekend :)

    ME:46 MH:44 DE IVF 2014
    Met with RE 4/11. 2 IUI's BFN. DE best option. Switched clinics to do "shared" program. Had to retake all tests and a mamm that put me behind and then on a DE waiting list for 12 months. Picked a donor!! (10/13/13) Got matched. Estimated transfer in December. After 2.5 years of patiently waiting I will finally cycle....can hardly believe it. DE cycle got cancelled. One of her tests came back positive.  Waiting for another donor. Donor picked!! (1/18/14)

    DE IVF #1 (4/26) BFN  DE FET #1 (6/4) BFP! Beta 1=339 Beta 2=852 Beta 3=9957 EDD 2/22/15!!

    Check-In    : 
    NERVOUS!  My cardiologist cleared me for another IVF cycle.  Starting bcps today, consulting with our RE on June 10, Lupron starting June 11 if the sono  goes fine at June 10 appt. Our FET would be either July 11 or 18.
    QOTW: 

    We are going to Oglebay Resort in Wheeling, WVa.  We go every year with my mom's side of the family.  It's lots of fun with family.  :)

    Been a while since I checked in. To refresh our situation we are using DE with a GC at ORM. The donor is there now with a retrieval scheduled for Tuesday or Wednesday of this week. Then our transfer should be May 31 or June 1. Can't believe we are so close.

    We are headed to Portland to meet our donor this weekend. So many emotions.

    I know its been said before but you ladies & gents are awesome individuals. Even in lurking, you have been amazing supports.

    @BeckyP005 I love Pittsburgh!  It's been forever since I've been there - college I think!  Yes :)  We went to the zoo there, took a train ride, hiked, went swimming, ate lots of food, played putt-putt... The only thing we didn't do was the paddle boats.
