  • How many weeks? 4 weeks! Still a poppy seed

How are you feeling? Fine except that I haven't been sleeping well so I'm exhausted.

Any upcoming appointments? Not yet. Will call tomorrow am to make my first appt.

Thoughts/vents? I'm still torn between being afraid to get excited and being excited. Just trying to balance the paranoia with happiness.

QOTW: I keep going back to look at me pee sticks to make sure the lines are still there. Like I'm making sure I'm not just making it all up.

  • How many weeks?  Fruit/veg [if you know]? Squash -- kind of vague, there are lots of squashes out there and they are all different sizes!  Oh well.  32 weeks.  :)

    How are you feeling?
Honestly not great today.  I have carpal tunnel in both hands and they are just achy and tingly all the time.  It's worst at night so I couldn't get comfortable and slept poorly...and then couldn't get myself up in time for yoga at 9:15, which probably would have made me feel better overall.  So I am just kind of stiff and achy all over and tired to boot.  Hopefully just resting and taking it easy today will help and I will feel a bit better tomorrow.  Going to talk to OB on Wednesday about the carpal tunnel (which is new) and probably get some wrist braces for sleeping in.  In the meantime I had some leftover cheesecake in the fridge which was an excellent antidote for self-pity!

Any upcoming appointments/milestones/pregnancy updates to share?
I have an appointment on Wednesday, but it's routine.  I think I'm getting my TDAP shot.  Not much else other than the fact that after a super easy pregnancy I am now a big whiner! ;)

    Thoughts/vents?
We haven't made much progress on the nursery and I am stressed about it!  In the meantime I had my work shower, have received lots of hand-me-downs and gifts from people who can't make it to our other showers, so there is baby stuff everywhere and no place to put it away.

QOTW: What's your worst "pregnancy brain" experience so far?
This morning, which is why I posted this QOTW!  I had agreed to walk my sister's dog by 9 am this morning as she was out of town overnight.  I didn't wake up until 8:45 and then ran out of the house as quickly as I could since it was getting late.  In my confusion I grabbed the key to my sister's house but NOT my own keychain with car and house keys...and locked the door to my house behind me.  Whoops.  My wife was at work, my sisters are both out of town...luckily my next-door neighbor has a key to our house, was home, and was perfectly gracious about me showing up at her door before 9 am.  My sister only lives a mile away and I considered walking it, but at 32w with unsupportive flip flops on and no breakfast, it would not have been fun!  Yay for neighbors.

  • @MoreThanSparrows08, I had the same problem with pee sticks!  Eventually I made myself throw them out, but I am not going to lie, I did dig one out of the trash more than once.

@3purpleroses, I also felt that way about blood.  I don't know exactly when it went away but now I am just checking to see if I peed myself!  :)  Glad your nausea has gone away.

  • How many weeks? Fruit/veg [if you know]? 21 weeks! Pomegranate

How are you feeling? Just tired mostly. I get some sciatic pains still that take my breath away at times but it's happening less frequently.

Any upcoming appointments/milestones/pregnancy updates to share? Nor for awhile. Today is a little bittersweet. This is the day last year that I lost my first pregnancy. I'm glad to be doing so well with this pregnancy though.

Thoughts/vents? I'm worried that DH is not going to be of much help with baby girl. He's done this before because he has an older child but he didn't have her all the time when she was little.

QOTW: What's your worst "pregnancy brain" experience so far? I have to write everything down at work these days on post it's or I will forget what needs to be done. I can't remember one big incident.

  • @gingerkid9989, I'm sorry about your loss anniversary but thrilled that your baby girl is doing great!  I hope you are just underestimating your DH and he will do great with her.

@jbiben, a bachelorette party does sound exhuasting!  Hope your NT scan goes well.

  • How many weeks?  Fruit/veg [if you know]?  29 weeks.  Acorn squash.

How are you feeling?  Tired and in pain most of the time.  Anxious. Happy.

Any upcoming appointments/milestones/pregnancy updates to share?

I passed GTT, but I found out I'm anemic.  I've been a vegetarian since 2003, and I've never been anemic.  I guess I'm due.  I don't feel too bad though because I know ladies who were anemic from the start of pregnancy and they aren't vegetarian.  I'm actually kind of excited about the iron supplement though.  Maybe I'll start to feel better.

    Thoughts/vents?
I got a gift certificate for a prenatal massage for Mother's Day.  I have to set that up soon!  I've never had a massage before.  I'm nervous and excited!
As far as venting goes, I'm so tired of being scheduled long days at work.  I had a 12 hour day on Thursday (with a 2 hour break from 12-2, but that included driving from one place to another), and I spent most of Friday recovering.

QOTW: What's your worst "pregnancy brain" experience so far?
I've been making a few mistakes at work, which sucks really bad because I'm in the medical field.  No one has been hurt, and unfortunately, everyone makes mistakes from time to time, but I'm pretty mad at myself about it.

Sorry I missed this yesterday.  My internet was being weird.

How many weeks?  Fruit/veg [if you know]? 22 weeks, papaya!  Although I was reading that baby is about 11 inches, and that seems like a huge papaya.

    How are you feeling?
     Back/hip pain, but otherwise good.

Any upcoming appointments/milestones/pregnancy updates to share? H felt our little boy kick for the first time this weekend.  The look on his face is one that I will never forget.  Seriously one of the best moments ever.

    Thoughts/vents? I only have 4 weeks before summer break...whatttt?

QOTW: What's your worst "pregnancy brain" experience so far? I was having a phone conversation with my mom last week and I literally lost my train of thought twice in a row.  I said "I forgot what I wanted to say....oh I remember....wait I forgot again."
