I've been watching mine pretty close because I'm really swollen. Earlier in pg it ran about 115/70 and now it's consistently 125/80. Is that even in the elevated range or is it pretty normal? Dr isn't concerned unless it is 140/90, but I just wondered if it is a bad sign that it seems to be rising.
Re: What do you consider elevated BP?
That is normal. Over 130 puts you in the watch category as far as non PG goes. I don't know if it is different when you are pg.
It is a totally normal bp for pg too. Most docs say not to worry unless you see a 20pt jump or more or get to the 140/90 threshold.
That being said, I would voice your concerns to your doc about the swellling.
