I have my 36 week appt at 3 EST. I get an u/s to check baby's position. I'm just hopeful we don't accidentally get a peek at the sex. I've waited this long; I'd be so disappointed to find out now. Also hoping for a "head down" baby!

WSS except I already know that we're team pink. We're also doing GBS, the first check of my cervix, and discussing a birth plan. Thanks to you ladies I know it's all NBD. I can't imagine pregnancy without this forum.
I have my own first follow up with my specialist regarding my BP and hope for lower meds but I don't think so. My head has been hurting for 24 hrs and that usually means high BP for me. Either way I may be getting to take LO home today!!! Just waiting to see the dr. She did everything he asked her to. Gained weight and kept up her feedings consistently. Here's to hoping!!
I have my weekly ultrasound today (started last week & will last until baby comes) to check on amniotic fluid levels because we had issues with that when I was pregnant with DD...had to rush to an induction when they realized there was no fluid left with her. Fingers crossed there's still plenty of fluid and that baby can stay put another couple weeks.
And @LilNunz1 I know how you feel! I don't even look at the ultrasound much anymore because I would be so sad if I accidentally saw something I didn't want to at this point. Team Green going strong!
NST and BPP at 9am PST. Then I have to go back to follow up with the doctor at 1:30, but I am hoping that they can squeeze me in right after the NST. I will get my results from my 3 hour glucose test, so I am praying it came back normal.
I had the first appointment of the day. I feel annoyed with my doctor. She keeps waffling regarding switching my blood thinners, how long to take them post-partum, etc. I feel my level of care has suffered between this pregnancy and my last but nothing substantial to warrant a change, ya know? She couldn't find the heartbeat and just have up, for example. Baby is moving so neither of us were worried it was just a "blah" situation. She also won't consider stapling me shut for my next surgery instead of the plastic wiring even though I didn't do well with the plastic last time (or rather she didn't!) I have my weekly testing tomorrow and I'm over it.
Had growth u/s, NST, and 36 week checkup. Checkup was good, protein hasn't gone up too much (yay) and BP was better today. They want to keep a closer eye on me now though (even more than before) so they added another appt after NST on Thursday.
Baby looked great today and since we didn't get any good pictures to take home at 32 weeks, u/s tech switched to 3d/4d for us and we got lots of good pictures today! He's measuring 6lb12oz and 77th percentile :-) seeing his little face makes me even more excited now to meet him
38 week appointment today. Praying for some progress and maybe an induction date to be set! I am so ready to meet this little guy.
My dr won't even discuss induction with me until I'm past 41 weeks.
My doctor gave me a "I won't let you be pregnant past X date", but that's 10 days past my due date, so I'm hoping it won't come to that...
My doctor is worried about the size of the baby, so she won't let me go past my due date. That means I have less then two weeks, and I'm hoping she will schedule the date today. Of course I want this to happen naturally, but I don't want to give birth to a 10 pound baby which is what would happen if I go past 40 weeks.
I had a NST and ultrasound today. Everything is going great. The ultrasound estimated that baby girl is 6lb 6oz. I only have 9 days until my induction so hopefully she doesn't get too much bigger.
We got a really cute ultrasound picture that shows her foot all the way up beside her head! Flexible baby haha
@MrsCase1 - Sorry you had a bad appointment. That would make me side-eye my doc too. How does she not know when she'll switch you to heparin? I thought 36 weeks was the norm.
@ugabamafans Eh, the whole thing was weird. With Lincoln I couldn't afford the Lovenox so I was on Heparin almost the entire pregnancy so it was a moot point. This time I told her I have 20 days left of Enoxaparin and it cost me $900 so I was loathe to discontinue it till necessary. She said most docs pull you at 36 weeks, her partner doesn't pull people off it at all, and that the insert says you can have an epidural within 12 hours (which obviously I will need with a repeat c/s.) She also said she wasn't going to have me take meds post-surgery, which I did for 6 weeks last time and it really gave me a good peace of mind. She is calling in the Heparin but I am not sure why if she doesn't think I need to switch? I left confused.
Annnnnnnnd, I got the 12:00 c/s this time so I am disappointed. I prefer morning surgeries because it means less time to agonize, etc. Now I will just be a hangry, anxious mess. LOL!
@Mrskbanister, FWIW my DD was 9 pounds 10 oz when born (and I'm not expecting this LO to be any smaller, lol). Just wanted to throw out some encouragement if your LO is big, you can do it! (And that's not a judgement on you or your doctor if you get induced, just some cheerleading for you because the thought of a big baby can definitely be a bit scary.)
@ugabamafans yeah I feel fine. I am kicking myself because I let my house get to the level of "dysfunction" and now I have to get off my ass and clean. A daunting task when coupled with laziness. So, I while I am thankful for modern medicine and access to healthcare, I'd really rather not spend my time hooked to a machine tomorrow when I should be cleaning. Today, too, for that matter. Team Lazy for the LOSE, ha!
I am going to insist on getting the blood thinners for post-surgery.
37 week appt. 1cm, "head is right there". Slightly disappointed but you never know. With DS (baby #2) I was 3 cm x3 weeks .... So I'm fully expecting a 41 Weeker again.
had a 10 EST appointment, went back to the room at 1030, and didnt see the doctor until 11. I'm all ready in an awesome mood at this point. Turned in my urine, got weighed, measured, the "everything is good, weight, baby, hb, etc see you in a week. call us if baby stops moving as much or you start seeing blood" and the dr left. This was a 5 minute process. Back next Tuesday (exactly one month until the due date!) for my strep test and weekly.
I had my NST and fluid checks. Fluid is looking good and baby was doing great. She flipped to head down! Woohoo!
I turned in my giant jug of urine and got a blood test for pre-e, as well. I found out my potassium is still low so I need to take a pill daily. Dr. said I would probably get another bag of potassium during labor. Also, I had the GBS swab! I didn't know that was happening today, but it took two seconds so it wasn't too bad.
My doctor saw me early so I got all my appointments done in a big chunk instead of having to go back. Thank goodness!
My GBS came back negative as did my 3 hr test results. The GD results for barely passing so that coupled with my extra fluid and baby's size could indicate a bit of glucose intolerance. He wants me to follow a modified diet but I don't have to test blood sugar. Baby is scoring perfect on NST and BPP so he is super happy with that. He's head down but hasn't dropped and is still facing up.
We discussed induction because of my fluid levels and baby's size. He won't let me go past 40 weeks. Next week we will schedule a date between 39-40 weeks. If I show any progression it will be on the 40 week mark. If not then it will be closer to 39. I really don't want to be induced, it terrifies me and I want to know what it's like to go into labor on my own. Hopefully I will start progressing.
I have an appointment with a pedi on Wednesday. What questions should I put on my list?
Baby is head down (yay!), but measuring 7lb 7oz...yikes. Hoping the measurements are off. I really don't want to deliver a 9lb baby. OB says "get on the yoga ball" to try to get things moving. I'm 1cm and extremely soft, so I guess that's good?
Today I had a NST and fluid/doppler check via ultrasound. I have one twin who likes to practice her breathing so much that it is hard to get accurate cord readings, and one that likes to chill and sleep and not move as much as the techs want to see :-). But everyone is healthy! They are coming out two weeks from Thursday!

I'm not new. I just hate The Bump.
