I think what's even more annoying than inconsistent contraction. Is people texting and calling you everyday , "is the baby out yet? Why don't you do this or that?" It makes you want 2 scream!!! Really, why didn't I think of that!

Seriously!!! Everytime I talk to a friend or family member they think I'm calling them to let them know I'm in labor. Ugh! For some reason it annoys me.
I haven't called or text anyone since.

Ugh I'm in the same boat!
I'm not due until Friday I can only imagine how annoyed I'll get if I go past my due date.

This is why I didn't tell anyone my due date. I'm still getting questions, but not nearly as many as last time when everyone knew the edd. All I've said is "sometime in May". Now here's hoping I don't go to June!

I hate calling my mom since every time I do she gets this hopeful tone and I have to tell her no.

My one cousin texts me everyday asking if today is the day ... Today when I said I didn't think so she texted back "aw! Come on..." Grrrrr

hehe my mom was like this too - if she called and I didn't answer, she assumed I was in labour. If I called her, she assumed I was in labour. Ugh.

Yep. I left work early Friday because I was throwing up (stomach bug...38 wks pregnant...who knows!) and everyone was shocked I was in today. They all apparently agreed amongst themselves that I was in labor. Ugh. People. Just puking. Thanks though. I'm sure now the everyday comments at work (You're still here? No baby yet? Anytime now.) will begin. I'm not in the mood.

My due date was May 10th, but I told everyone "mid May" or picked days between the 15th-20th to tell them. It's now the 19th and still no baby so people are starting to hound me. DD1 was only 5 days overdue so I figured I would be in the clear. Nope.

Why are people so annoying? My mom is especially getting to me.... texting every day "how are you?" when what she really means is "any baby yet?". I got annoyed last week one day when she called (I was only 38 weeks then btw) for an "update" and said "oh yeah, I forgot to tell you I had the baby last week". I mean, does she think I'm trying to hide it or something?!?! UGHHHHH!!!!!

I am already annoyed am still pregnant. But I hate waking up every morning to the annoying text messages "did ur water break, did u ve the baby yet?" I get at least 10 messages a day.

So my mom is past the daily text messages and we're on to 'every 3 hour' text messages. They go a little like this:
'Any update'? 'No, mom'. 'Ok, keep my updated'. 'Got it mom'.
And this is on repeat. All. Day. Long.
And the one day I was having consistent contractions it was even WORSE. 'Update?' 'Just a little crampy, no real rhythm'. 'How far in between? How long are they lasting? Are they getting worse? Do you think you're in labor? Are they painful?'.
Not even kidding you.
So at this point, I would GLADLY take a daily message.

I had to post a warning on fb. Basically saying leave us alone we will call/text you. So far it's worked.

I too posted something on FB today and said for my sanity people should text my husband if they want to know how I'm feeling/where's the baby to text my husband. He got 3 texts after that..
