update (warning of long)

I haven't been around much.  We have been extremely busy since moving back to Canada.
In the middle March, I received a call from our social worker, who did the adoption of Mallory and Logan.  She was removing my sister's newest out of her home and needed us to take her in.  We took her in at 1 month.  We have since finalized the adoption of her, on April 24th.  We went to court and the judge, lawyers and social workers agreed that it was for the best.  We now have 3 month old Becca.  We have settled into a good routine and have actually made it out to the cottage the last two weekends.
My sister has been spending time up here visiting as much as possible, seeing the family.  She hadn't been feeling great.  She had a minor surgery 9 days ago with her doctor and was given a cancer diagnosis this week.  I have been trying to get her into the cancer hospital that is closer to us.  This is the hospital in which I was a patient in just over 10 years ago.  My diagnosis was May 10th, 2004.  I saw a world renowned doctor in the same of cancer that she has been diagnosed with.  Her doctor, where she is from, wants her to go the hospital that is closer to her home.  Her prognosis is good, but they haven't figured out the course of treatment yet for her.
We are planning on going down there for at least a week, at the end of the school year.  If not two.  Finishing the year is key for us, once school is out, we may spend a good portion of the summer on the other side of the province.
Everyone else is doing good.
I do apologize about the length of this.

So you've adopted 3 of your sisters babies? That is so awesome of you and your husband.
I'm glad you all have settled into a nice routine. Hopefully your sister get better and tolerates her treatment well.
