Am due Wednesday, I get inconsistent contractions every day. But no real signs the baby will come on time. Then found out the hospital is fully book, so I won't be able to get induce either this week. Unless someone goes in labor on their own.

I'm due Friday and I'm also having inconsistent contractions. My OB will not induce me until after 41 weeks because I have no medical reason to be induced. I know it sucks but I am just trying to relax and let things be what they we be.

With the size of the baby couple with the severe pelvic separation I ve been experiencing throughout the end of my pregnancy. My doctor agree to induce me close to my due date as possible.

Pain is no reason for induction. Most inductions end up in unnecessary c/s. One of the reasons size would be is if he/she is high risk for shoulder dystocia. I think you're looking for an easy way out. Full term is 38-42 weeks...especially if it's true that you posted this a few days ago. I'm due today, join the waiting train.

Another week won't make much of a difference in weight. I have severe SPD (handicap sign FTW). I won't be induced for it. I wasn't last time either, but my high BP bought me an induction.

ETA: you could be having zero contractions & locked down like a fortress & have your baby in a matter of hours. I've been 4cm for over 2 weeks & here I sit still pregnant. I was 6cm with DD when I was induced. No way to predict when baby will come.
