Over Crib Changing Tray

My sister is currently pregnant & doesn't have a lot of room in her home for more furniture. She wants to register for this over the crib changing tray - it lays over the top of the crib bars. Apparently it has knobs that keep it form moving. I'm not sure how safe this is.

Has anyone seen or used one of these?

I'm thinking that maybe she should go without & just get the changing pad & use it on her bed or something if she doesn't want a table..

We just changed on a pad in the crib the first months. Isn't great for the back. What about a pack and play with a changer, we had that as well.

Thanks for the reply. I don't believe she wants a pack & play. She doesn't have the extra space for one.

We do not have a changing table and just change on the floor on a pad. Kind of a pain, but not that bad.

We didn't get a changing table. We changed DS on the top of his dresser until he became too wiggly to do so. Now we just change him on his changing pad on the floor.
