I didn't vote since I'm not supplementing this time but did with A1 and she never took more than 4oz. My pedi said it was because she was also BF, but who knows. I would always hope she's fill up on formula and bull up but no dice.
It couldn't hurt. Have you done a weighted feeding lately? We based his bottles off of that.
I haven't. We go to a breastfeeding group where there is a good scale, but he is so distracted there I know he doesn't take a full feed so I'm not sure what to do about that. The only time I know he does is when we are at home in the nursery with the lights low and white noise on. I kinda miss him being oblivious to the world!

I think our babies could be twins. The only reason I know is because I bought a scale which we have checked and matches up within .2 ounces of the scale we have at our BF group.
And I was assuming you meant bottle with breast milk? @yesthisiskim0401's comment made me start questioning. If you mean formula, then I have no idea.

Mine gets bottles at daycare. I send five ounce bottles as whenever I've done a weighted feed that's about how much he takes in; however, he usually only takes 4oz but sometimes springs for the fifth.
IDK why the answer to this would be any different for a BF baby who only occasionally gets a bottle vs. one who gets bottles every day? Anyway, mine has taken the same 4.5 oz bottle every day since the first day I left him to go back to work at 8 weeks.
Cooper takes three 4oz. bottles at daycare everyday, plus some veggies and fruit for lunch. Our daycare ladies want me to bring bigger bottles, but if he has a bottle at home, 4 oz is about all he can take. He is still at over 80% on his height and weight, so I'm not worried.
LO gets a bottle before bed from DH one night a week. We thaw a 3 ounce bottle and she rarely finishes it. I nurse her at 6 before I leave and this bottle is at about 7:15 so that could be why the amount is on the low side.
3 4-ounce bottles at daycare. She's been drinking a little less sometimes lately, and flat out refused it from DH recently. She BFs as much as she always has though.
Re: For EBF babies who just occasionally get a bottle, how many oz do they drink?
