My LO is 20 weeks tomorrow and started rolling about two weeks ago, meaning no more swaddling. She absolutely loved to be swaddled, so dealing with that transition has been hard (we still wrap around the chest). I'm not sure if it's the unswaddling or if she's going through the four-month wakeful period but she's been waking up every couple hours to cry out for no good reason (that I can determine) or to feed. Prior to this, she'd be up about once a night to eat. Life was good. To make matters worse, she's been rolling off her "Safe to Sleep" breathing monitor mat, which means the alarm goes off, scaring the sh*t out of me and interrupting her sleep, While it doesn't seem to bother her too much to be moved back onto the mat, it's just one more interruption in an already crappy night of sleep. I'm thinking it's time to take the mat out and just hope she's okay through the night. I'm a first-time mom and it took me nearly 3 years to get pregnant, so I'm even more of an anxious mess when it comes to worrying about something happening to her. Have others stopped using breathing monitors like Snuza on their babies?
Re: Sleep Monitors
Not really; it will probably be retired when he is able to remove or dislodge it.

It falls off more with my cloth diapers vs the disposables.
I still use it.
Sometimes the beeping doesn't even wake her up -! I know to somewhat relax now , after some false alarms , if it goes off.
I'd rather a few false alarms at this point over making the decision to get rid of it.
