So, I know it's not Thursday but can I just add what seems to be a very unpopular opinion in my life these days: Preschool graduation ceremonies are stupid. My stepson's preschool is planning this big ceremony for the kids and families at the beginning of June. Now I understand celebrating the end of their year, and maybe I understand inviting parents in to watch some little song and dance. HOWEVER this has turned into a full blown production and it seems as though all of my husband's family is planning on attending. The letter said to bring as many people as we want, but I think this is a little ridiculous. Right now we have me, my husband, his aunt, his grandma, his mom, his mom's b/f, and his dad all planning on coming. This is a PRESCHOOL graduation. He learned how to count and say his ABCs. And to be perfectly honest, he doesn't do that very well. Why is this such a big deal? I never even went to preschool, or kindergarten. I just don't get it.
