Mom's of boys come in

Ok, now it's starting to get warm and DS is running around at d/c a ton outside. He's starting to become chaffed...down there.....what do you mommas use to keep the area free of irritation? Baby powder? Deodorant? 

I'm sure I could probably ask DH as he is a boy...I don't want to use anything too harsh.

    @b0710 well I know you aren't supposed to use it with little babies but I figured at 17 months he probably wouldn't breathe in the particles of powder. I think that was the concern in using it with infants. 

    I just want him to be comfortable....this is foreign equipment to me!

    7/5/11 MC at 8 weeks. 5/17/12 BFP, twins EDD 1/20/13! 6/20/12 Baby B's heart has stopped beating. 8/31/12 Baby A is a boy! And is perfectly healthy and thriving. 1/19/2013 emergency c-section, Thoren is perfect. 3/1/2013 told i will never be able to conceive again. 12/16/13 told they were wrong!

    I didn't even think of chaffing down there for Jack.  Great!  
    I didn't either until I started noticing it. I talked to DH last night about it and he was like, "yeah, it happens" and then he told me what he uses but said it might be a little harsh for DS, so he said to listen to my Bump Ladies as he refers to you!

    DS luckily has not ran into this chaffing problem.  But I noticed that he gets a bit of heat rash in his neck roll! haha.  He and DH have very fair Irish skin so they both are very sensitive.  With DS we use triple paste on his bottom and groin area, as well as a little baby powder in his neck fold.  If we notice some redness, we put him in an Aveeno Oatmeal bath, and within a few hours the irritation is gone. 

    BFP#1 -3/18/12- M/C 3/31/12,
    BFP#2 -4/25/12, Beta#1 17dpo= 800, Beta#2 20dpo= 3800, Ethan James born 1-5-13

    BFP#3- February 2015- natural miscarriage

    BFP#4- June 2015- Ruptured ectopic, severe hemorrhage and loss of left tube on 7/10/2015

    BFP#5- 12/18/15
