My BFF I believe is on the July '14 board but I haven't checked... She was there before I rec'd it to her but I think she was on TTTC/IF board at least as a lurker as well. I love when people don't think I am crazy.

My cousin was on Dec '13 and for whatever reason she was petrified of having a MC after going on there (she also went on before I told her about TB)... She did end up having a late MMC with that pregnancy; she's preg again now though and due in about 2 weeks, not sure if she's on May '14 though.

I rec'd a few boards for my sister but she said they were not nice there? Wtf? And just two days ago rec'd tb to a friend due early july14 because she hate babycenter. Lol. Shes a smart cookie.

Yes and no. A lot of my child bearing friends IRL I met on my local TK and TN board 7ish years ago, so they are well aware of TB. Friends not from the boards, I usually tell them, unless they are coworkers, or have a personality that they are unable to "handle" the boards.

It would depend on the friend and her temperament. I don't think The Bump is for everyone (as we have clearly seen from some GBCB'ers).

I recommended it to a coworker that is newly preg. I told her to wait until after 12 weeks bc of all the sad stories early on. She has had a rough time getting preg.

I've mentioned TB but I get a lot of strange looks.... My SIL said she barley has time to scratch her head much less to "chat" ..... I guess she can't multitask !

So not recommending it anymore .. I rather keep it to myself.

Deft depends on the person. My friend was a D13 mom and there's no way in hell she would last a week here. She's more BBC than TB.

My sister lurks on June '14 (when she's due) because she knows how much I'm on O13. She says that she's not down with the mean girl shit that goes on, so she never posts. I think she's gotten some good from it though

I've shared this but I told my friend who's due in O14 about the bump and she said everyone was mean and she didn't like it. (Those were during her TTC days) She's on babycenter and loves it. She tells me to join all the time.
