How are you planning to announce?

With DS we had both sets of our parents over for dinner and a game night. We played Apples to Apples and my husband wrote on a blank card, "you're going to be grandparents!" We told our extended families at the next family get togethers.

we are not sure how to announce this time. DS has a big brother shirt, but we were thinking to use that for extended family, though we could use it for both.

How are you planning to (or already have) announce(d)?

We got a cake on Easter with little Easter eggs and had "We're Egg-Specting" wrote on it. This is how we told immediate family.

That's a cute idea to share with families! We play ATA with our families all the time - baby we'll do that next time!

We told our families on Easter with a cute little Easter basket. With the rest of the world, we'll announce with a big sister photo on the beach.

I just plan on telling them over the phone. I hate announcing things, and I hate attention. I am pretty boring.

I did however take a cute photo to put in a baby book for my two other children to see when they get older so they know they were apart of it

We kind of just told everyone. Or they managed to guess. We were open about the fact that we were trying.

We wrapped up the early sono picture up and gave it to my MIL for mothers day. Before she opened it we told her that she will get the other part for Christmas. She was confused at first and when she opened it I told her, the baby is due Christmas Day!

Nice ideas! We told our parents and a select few friends. Since I'm a teacher I'm going to tell my boss in June when she gives me my assignment for next year. I don't plan on telling everyone else until July or August over a FB announcement. We told our extended family way too soon during my first pregnancy and I had a m/c so we swore not to tell people until way later this time. I'm already looking at announcement ideas for December babies though :-)
