Based on my LMP, I'll be a Feb 15 mom if I am lucky enough to get KTFU this cycle. I'm on Femara and Follistim and I'll have my IUI in the next week or so. Wish me luck, please!!! I'd love to join this board!!!

Good luck to you, too!! I started my Follistim last night. I go in for an ultrasound on Friday morning to see how the follies are growing. I was on Femara before for 5 days (5 mg per day). I may trigger on Friday night depending on how I'm responding and go in for an IUI on Sunday which would be Mother's Day. I hope it's a sign

Thanks @NotElsie! I was slower to respond than expected but happily my ultrasound looked good today and I'll probably have my IUI on Wednesday or Thursday this week

That's always disappointing. I hope your next cycle will be gentler! Have you thought about Femara? It works as well as Clomid from my understanding but it's a lower chance of multiples.

Yeah.. they really screwed up my monitoring. I still have a chance this month because of -3 sex. If they would have done their jobs correctly this wouldn't be an issue. I'm a little scared.

They want to put me on Femara next cycle, but I'm debating what to do since they messed me up pretty badly.

Eeek!! I got a BFP yesterday morning! We were charting and did some extra bd'ing at the right time. Seriously, dollar store tests work the best and the earliest for me! I tested yesterday at 10 dpo and my cycle not supposed to be starting until tomorrow. Can't believe I'm in the Feb 2015 club!!

How did they mess up your monitoring? From my experience I usually go in for an u/s on CD 3, then come back on CD 13 or 14, and then they decide from there what to do. With Follistim, I was monitored more closely since they had to base my dosage on how the follicles were growing so it would seem Clomid was a bit more hands-off.

With Femara you'll probably only get one or maybe two lead follicles. Much lower risk of multiples In any case, I hope your -3 sex worked for just a singleton! There's still hope for this cycle yet.

I was told they were going to let me come in for mid-cycle monitoring to see how I was responding to the clomid, but they didn't let me come in until cd16. Then they said I'd have to get an IUI that day. They called about half an hour later to cancel because they were uncomfortable with my 4 (maybe 5) mature follies.

Thanks! My chart is teasing me big time so hopefully I'll have a minimum of 1, or maximum of 2 babies
