Flutters - I am 2 weeks behind

*FTM and like the title says I am due in Nov.*

So last night I was laying in bed and I felt this flutters. But they were up by my sternum. I laid on my back and followed them to my left side and then back up again.
It went on for about 5 minutes and came and went.

I think it was baby, BUT I am not sure.

Please don't flame me. I really like this BMB.

    Um, well, your sternum is in your chest, and your uterus is waaaay lower, so what you were feeling was definitely not baby. You should google fundal height by week so you can understand where your baby is.

    I got a little excited when I thought I felt something a few weeks ago (16/17 weeks), but it was up too high (around and above my belly button). It was probably just gas passing though my bunched up intestines. I since found out that I have an anterior placenta, so in addition to being in the wrong place, it was also way too early for me to feel a thing. Be patient!

    Thanks ladies. I thought it was strange to feel it that high. But thought I would bounce it off you all. Gas bubbles it is. Too bad. :((

    Haha sometimes I literally have to remind myself that if I can hear the flutters then it is gas, not baby!

    Yeah, it was probably something else going on. I've felt movement up above too but because I'm already feeling baby, I can actually tell the difference and know that it isn't baby, but I've had to stop a few times to think about it. You'll feel your LO soon enough and then you'll know the difference.
