What exactly does Brody Jenner do?

He reminds me of a male Paris Hilton, but at least she kind of does something (if you can call her acting/marketing/b.s. something). As far as I can tell from watching the Hills, he does nothing. He goes out to eat, parties, and hangs out with girls. Am I missing something?

A) Why does anyone care who is going to be friends with Paris or Brody?

At least we know who Brody's dad is. How the hell does Spencer get his money? What does his family do?

They are also paid to be on the show, not so reality, although most reality shows with reoccuring seasons the participants are paid, including Real Housewives, etc. Shows like Top Chef they are not.?

Spencer also has family money, but these people are all 'character based' and cast for the show. ?

Trust me, I wouldn't mind having his money and freedom that the money brings, but I couldn't imagine doing absolutely nothing productive. I'd feel like a waste of space. He is quite yummy to look at though.
