    OP brings a story of her friend, who is a mommyblogger  Friend says that her daughter and another girl are being cyberbullied by a third girl.  The third girl has gone so far as to log into daughter's and other girls IG accounts, twitter, FB and other forms of social media.  Also, she's sending threatening texts.  All of the girls involved are 12.  

    Mommyblogger posts this on her blog and gets a fuckton of support from other mommybloggers.  Once of whom posts that the third girl should basically be anally raped.  

    CEP goes "WAIT.  Whut?" and starts to poke holes in the story.  They investigate on their own and discover all sorts of inconsistencies and come to the (very logical) conclusion that the two girls are actually the ones bullying the third girl.  The catalyst for the investigation was when the mommyblogger tells her daughter that she has to go to school unless third girl sends a death threat.   Within 24 hours, daughter receives a death threat.  Mommyblogger also states that she's received threatening messages from third girl saying third girl knows where they are, what they're wearing, and what their talking about.  (all of which can be explained away if the daughter and her friend are the ones sending the threatening messages.) They try to tell the mommyblogger and her followers this and mommyblogger will not listen, but still goes on several tirades against third girl, saying that she had to send her daughter and the other girl out of the state to get away from the "bullying"  

    It's all very "The Crucible" up in there

    I can't remember all the details but it was a minor misunderstanding/normal developmental thing and she flipped, involved police and basically almost destroyed a very young child. She would listen to no one.

    Someone else may remember more.
