Weekend Plans...

Trying to kill some time before my weekend starts, please entertain me!!

What are your weekend plans? Plans with S/O, plans with friends, plans to prepare for baby??

For me, tonight will be cooking at home with my cute hubby, a movie on the couch with my feet up and on ice. We've been having record heat in San Diego so the weekend will be spent at the beach staying cool!

This will be my first laid-back weekend in a while… just getting pedicures and going to lunch tomorrow with my mom (for Mother's Day) and then going to Lowe's at some point to pick out paint and carpet for the nursery. Other than that I just plan to relax and clean up the house a bit!

We are painting the nursery tomorrow. Last weekend we took down the popcorn veiling, RE textured and painted it and put up a new fan. Its ridiculous how much better that room looks already! I also hope to get a little gardening done, but that's just me being overly hopeful about my energy level...

that's some crazy shit. It's been really smoky in LA too with smoke from fires not just from SD blowing up here, but blowing down from Ventura County.

Tonight: making dinner for me and my hubs. Watching some TV on the couch with kitties. Tomorrow: breakfast, cleaning, and a fun dinner with friends. Sunday: church, more relaxing, and getting a head start on some work projects that need to be done before mat leave!

@Leskay Enjoy Ocean City! I went with my family a few years ago and we frequented the liquor store on the traffic circle right outside of the city limits, lol!

This weekend I'm trying to get over my stress from work and will help my husband repaint a dresser that I painted red in high school... we have no idea what we're doing!

Tonight- made dinner and went for ice cream at this place that has an indoor play place. Dd was too busy chasing all the other kids around, so mama ate all the ice cream!

Tomorrow- lunch with dh's BFF then they head off to guys night at foreigner/Styx concert while I work in baby's room

Sunday- more baby room fixing.

Nothing tonight as DH is finishing up painting DD's new room so we can use the nursery for DS.
Tomorrow the zoo with some of DH's cousins and their kids.
Sunday hopefully relaxing and maybe seeing my grandparents.

It's confirmation Sunday at church this weekend and I'm a confirmation mentor to one of the high school girls. This morning we have a short meeting about how things will go tomorrow. DH is taking DS to a pirate party at the beach so I may run some errands on the way home from the meeting. Tomorrow is church for me and DS. My parents invited us over for dinner and they're cooking on the grill.

Last night we took DD to Chuck E Cheese for being good all week...Lately she has been screaming when I pick her up from the sitter because she doesn't want to stop playing outside (even though she plays outside the minute we get home..) so we talked about it a ton & she was so much better this week, so a reward!

CEC actually was not as awful as I was expecting, so yay.

Today I am going to a scrapbooking crop. Still need to finish 2013's pics.

Tomorrow, not much!

LAst time they came through with journey and it was awesome. I told dh no journey no care so off he goes with his boys. Plus I didn't want to be around all the weed/cigarette smoke

Quiet weekend.

I want to get the kids to mass, but that just sounds like the worst thing ever to try and attempt alone with all my restrictions. My mom is super helpful, but I know asking her to come with me to a Catholic mass is a no-go (really really long back story here, but it's not totally unreasonable a little hyper sensitive, but not totally unreasonable.)

Hoping to find a killer deal somewhere out thrifting today. Really want an end table I can convert into a dog kennel for our little welsh corgi :-)
