Cradle swing and bouncer---mix or match?

I've been going back and forth on my registry the last few weeks on which cradle swing and bouncer to register for DS (right now I think I have at least pinpointed the fisher price snugabunny or snugabear). I guess in my head I always assumed I would match them both from the same brand/line (both for consistency for DS and pure looks) but it just occurred to me that LO might get crazy bored just staring at the exact same mobile toys.

Thoughts?? Are you matching or mixing it up??

@jendem8‌ isn't the snugabunny friggin cute?!?! I am kicking myself for discovering the snugabear yesterday because I am about 90% sure we'll be putting some classic Winnie the Pooh prints in the nursery.

Sooo cute… I love the ears! I saw they have a Snugapuppy too, but the Snugabunny is still my favorite. I would go with whatever you like the best - I mean, there is also a Rabbit in Winnie the Pooh. They're all super cute though!

None of ours match. I don't really remember there being as many matchy choices in 2010.

I wanted to get something in the snugabear design but I haven't seen that available on BRU, which is where I'm registered. That said, I'm mixing and matching.. I'm getting the snugapuppy swing and the lamb rock 'n play. If people don't end up getting me one of those things, I'll get it somewhere else in snugabear.

We had planned on matching ours swing and bouncer when we registered, just for looks sake. I honestly am still getting used to the idea of having all the kids toys sitting around my house so I am trying to keep some consistency in cuteness!

Anyway, BIL and SIL are giving us both because their kids are done with them which is fine. I am all for free! I actually really love the bouncer they have because it has trees and owls on it, I just don't know what the swing looks like. Oh well, I didn't really have much hope that the consistency in toys and décor would last very long anyway.

I registered for a mamaroo for the swing and fisher price bouncers (there is one on my BRU and another on Target and I am waiting to see which one is purchased first and delete the other), so they won't match. I don't really care about the matching because the mamaroo will live in the nursery and the bouncer will be all over.

On a side note, the bouncer on my BRU registry has two different sides for different developmental stages, the Target one is the rainforest deluxe one. I am kind of hoping someone gets the BRU one first

I didn't bother matching that stuff, but we never bought a swing. The bouncer I got a bright fisher price one and we got the snugabunny RNP. I figured at the time that things for sleep I would get in soft colors (less stimulating) and things for play I would get in bright colors.

@Notchotchke‌ yeah, that is what worries me. Great advice! I've seen the rainforest one pop up on a lot of best rated lists. I don't find it as adorable looking but ultimately it's all about entertaining LO

Ours don't match and trust me it has never been an issue. They were rarely in the same room anyways.

I'm not matching. We were given a used swing from a friend. I love the ocean, so we have a few ocean themed things (play mat, exersaucer) but when I thought about it, I decided LO shouldn't be forced to look at ocean things just cuz I like them so we got a rainforest bouncer. My friend had it and her LO loved the waterfall that lights up.

I prefer the snugapuppy and registered for the swing and bouncer in that at BRU. But I also registered at Target for family and friends who don't have a BRU and they only carried the snugamonkey. So I guess there's a chance that I could get something snugapuppy and something snugamonkey.

We registered for all matching, and we got everything but the swing. We found a great deal from Amazon's Deal of the Day for the Fisher Price Cradle n Swing Rainforest Friends, so we bought that. I'd rather save the money than worry about it all matching. I might feel differently if I was only buying for one baby though. I'm not sure!
