rslhmg: Plans on having alone family time with new baby and in laws are giving her a hard time-stand your ground here! LO had crazy heart rate and had to go in for some extra monitoring. Doc was not happy with what he saw and started IV and drew some blood. It finally stabilized after fluids and she was sent home-thank goodness! Urine and bloodwork did not show issues. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers that LO stays in for as long as possible.
flergirl: Jenna is measuring 2 weeks ahead-5lbs. 14oz!!! BP was ok and NST will be on Friday. RCS is scheduled for May 29th!!!
megs2011: AS revealed that they are having a BOY! Having trouble with name picking, but hopefully DH will be willing to compromise on the issue of not using his name as the first name.
PhillyGal34: IUD officially out and will TTA for one cycle before officially TTC!
mrsdbc: LO still cooking and no cervix checks yet. Midwife did not give her usual vote of confidence, but will see one of the regular OB's soon and will ask questions about what's going on. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers that LO stays in and everything is well.
danalawrence: LO still cooking and RCS is scheduled for June 25-she has passed her last pg milestone! Woohoo!

Thanks for asking about my FIL. I am having flashbacks of being in the NICU cause it's a roller coaster basically. He was put back on the vent today due to pneumonia and to remove whatever he aspirated (while throwing up) since his chest x-rays were getting worse. Next Friday, he might get a trach or he could recover so well that he can just go home after recovery. Worst case scenario (besides the obvious) is that he goes to long term facility care 1.5/2 hours away after he gets trach in.
DS wrote a note that MIL gave the doctor. It read,
"Dear pulmonologist,
Please go to the pharmacy to buy some medicine to make my Papa feel better."
I am crying as I write that...
On a lighter note, there was a post about lurkers on the June '13 board. I re-introduced myself on it and hoping to actually be a regular poster there too. Hope to see you there!
