labor signs?

so I'm having majoooor period cramps like the worst ever. they have been non stop all day but much worse within the last he. dr told me this morning baby will be here within a few days so I'm expecting labor soon. i have low back pain and idk how I'm
gonna sleep with these cramps. I went to l and d this afternoon for bleeding and they said I'm
not in labor but what the heck is going on? should I call AGAIN ?

    Have you started timing them? I had weak irregular contractions in the morning I went into labor. OB examined me and said I wasn't in labor. They got so bad I went to l&d to be safe and my water broke shortly after I got there so you never know! I know everyone is different so my advice would be to listen to your instincts.

    Cramping is normal with a membrane sweep. I cramped and contracted for a few hours and then they went away. Are you having contractions?

    Honestly I don't know if you are in labor.  But to me it sounds like regular end of pregnancy discomfort.

    Could be. But everyone is so different.

    Start by timing them and see if thy increase and watch for your water breaking.

    Some people have those cramps for days. Other means it's go time. You won't know until something changes.

    thanks for the input girls. it def wasn't labor I still have cramps but nothin timeable :/
