I'm a teaching assistant and the other day one of the dinner time staff stopped me as I walked across the yard. She said "oooooo I didn't know you were pregnant again - how's it going?" She didn't know I had 2 mmc last year and few people know I'm pregnant because I'm nervous.I stood and stammered for a bit then she suddenly looked mortified. I think she suddenly thought "shit maybe she's just fat!" I finally blurted out that yes I'm pregnant but please keep it quiet as we are nervous after losing 2 babies last year. She looked more mortified when I told her I'm actually only 8 weeks and not the 5 months I actually look because of all the bloat!
I've noticed a few people looking at me recently who know about my previous losses and are probably expecting me to be pregnant again. I think they have noticed the blump. Maybe I should just tell and get it over and done with. Urgh I hate being so short and that I get bloated so easily so it shows! X

    Thanks everyone! Trying to be optimistic but it's hard! I've pretty much given up trying to hide so I'll let them gossip! Already decided not to lie if I'm asked outright, and just come clean. With my first loss, we'd told everyone we were expecting straight away because we were so excited to have a sibling for our son. It was hard then having to publicly share the loss. With our second loss we didn't tell anyone except parents. Then because I was in hospital and had time off work we had to announce we'd had another loss to people who didn't know I was pregnant. (I was off a month because the first ERPC didn't remove everything so I needed a repeat one 2 weeks later and I had an infection.) I was also very depressed and in a bad way mentally. Both ways were equally tough so I'm not too hung up on who knows now I guess. It's swings and roundabouts. Just praying this little beany sticks around - third time lucky I hope! :)

    Right there with you, op. I am so bloated and my ute is pushing my fat out so that I look way more pregnant than I am. It's not cool and I'm starting to think its a losing battle to hide it. Also, my doctor commented that my ute is measuring much bigger then where I'm at (not the baby, the baby is spot on). Who knows why I'm blessed with a gigantic ute but it's not doing me any favors right now.
