Symptoms? Too many to list - all symptoms it seems!
Appointments/Updates? Had my first cervical check on Tuesday - no dilation. I have a C/S scheduled for 5/26, but I was kinda bummed that I wasn't dilated at all.
Rants/Raves?
Raves: Just a few more days here at work and then I'm on maternity leave!
Rants: So over the laziness of students this time of year! It's not summer yet, kids!
GTKY: What does your nursery look like? Grey, white, and coral. I loooove it!

Symptoms? Contractions that come and go and insane amount of pressure down there. The doctor said he is sitting on a nerve. I wasn't able to walk for a good 12 hours but he finally moved!
Appointments/Updates? Next appointment is Thursday but I'm hoping baby is out by then. I am 1.5cm and baby's head is low.
Rants/Raves? It's is actually nice to be on leave a little bit early and take some time for myself.
GTKY: What does your nursery look like? The walls are a blue/gray color and baby's bedding is white and gray with jungle animals. It is simple and I can't wait to rock him in his room
Symptoms? A lot of cramping. Not as painful as a contraction, but more painful than the cramping I had before, so maybe it's light contractions.
Appointments/Updates? Tuesday I should be going in to be induced! At 36 weeks, I was 1-2 cm dilated and 80% effaced, so I'm hoping I've made some more progress before then.
Rants/Raves?
Raves: I'm gonna be a Mommy next week! (Assuming there are beds)
Rants: This kid has gotten taller with no place to go, so I'm super uncomfy!
GTKY: What does your nursery look like? I can't paint it (renting a house, and don't see the point) so it's black and white filled with my toys from the 80's. I was clearly obsessed with E.T.
Symptoms? my feet have started to swell, and I'm feeling a lot of pressure low down...and all around actually - baby is running out of room!
Appointments/Updates? At my appt yesterday baby's head was "low" and I was 1-2cm dilated. The OB said I could go as soon as this weekend or not for another 2 weeks (yeah, way to hedge your bet)
Rants/Raves? Rants - my feet hurt and I'm getting impatient. Raves - I'm 39 wks, it can't be too much longer right??
GTKY: What does your nursery look like? We painted the walls a light grey and the trim white. The crib is white, from ikea, and I stenciled a pseudo Moroccan design in yellow and grey on on the ends. There's a blue chair, a blue bureau with mismatched knobs, and another white bureau (of which DH is still using half of the drawers:-w). I'm going to hang some artwork on the walls this weekend. Someday I'll get around to posting pics on the pimp your nursery thread.
