My first AW: Outside Baby Kicks!

Im 18w4d today, STM. I have felt movement since about 12-13 weeks for sure, and for the couple weeks, pretty much every time Im laying down, I felt the baby move. The movements have been getting stronger and this morning I had my hand resting on my bump and felt two kicks right under my hand! I havent felt a whole lot of connection with this baby yet, but as soon as I felt those kicks I was instantly in love!

It is crazy how much sooner Im experiencing things this time around. Any other S+TMs find this to be true? I think I felt my first inside kick with DD at 19 weeks. This baby seems like it is going to be so active!

    Aw, congrats on outside kicks!! I've definitely felt movement a lot sooner with this baby. With my DD I didn't feel the first fluttery feeling until 16 weeks and the first kicks more like 19-20. With this LO I felt the first flutters the day I turned 14 weeks, around 15 weeks I started feeling small thumping feelings - like kicks that just weren't that strong yet. By 16 weeks I was feeling the thumps daily. Now they keep getting stronger and more noticeable. I'm loving feeling the movement sooner, it's been great!!

    How exciting!  I'm definitely feeling things way sooner this time too but no outside kicks for me yet.

    Congrats! Feeling those kicks inside and out is utterly magical.

    I had been looking forward to feeling for-sure movement earlier than in my first pregnancy, but in fact, it happened almost exactly at the same time. I was feeling "maaaybe" movement intermittently from week 10 on this time, but it wasn't until 16 weeks that I was sure of it. Within a week, I was feeling outside kicks, and now I am getting big rolls and hiccups that I can feel from the outside. Bewitching.

    Yay!  Definitely sooner this time.  I started feeling movement around 14 weeks (was almost 16 with DS) and have been feeling outside kicks for about 1 week now.  My favorite part of pregnancy!

    How exciting! So jealous. I'm still waiting to feel inside movement. I can't tell if I can already, or if it is just gas.

    Congrats that is so exciting!! I felt a few kicks last night.  Hubby hasn't been able to feel anything yet, and he is getting ansy! He wants to feel those kicks! soon enough I am sure! Hang in there ladies :)

    I just started feeling the inside flutters last week. Still not super regular so I am jelly of the outside kick. I am not going to lie, each time I feel him move I have to stop because it is such a interesting sensation.

    I felt the first kick at just about 16 weeks.  I definitely felt like a hard strong kick and I felt the same thing the next morning, so that had to be what it was (FTM.. wasn't sure).

    Since then it just feels like it's doing somersaults in there.  Not fluttery feeling, doesn't feel like a true kick, just feels like it's rolling around.  It's been REALLY active the past few days, which has been awesome!  I'm loving it!

    yay for kicks! This is my first and I've been feeling them on the outside since 18 weeks. Found out at my A/S that the ole' placenta is in the back though so that's probably why.
