Poop cramps?

I honestly can't tell if I'm starting to have contractions or if I'm having poop cramps. I have no basis for comparison. I keep pooping and it's hard to get out, but it's loose once it does, and I still "feel" like I have to poop more - there is so much pressure in my back and butt. Luckily school is over in about 2 hours so I can go home and at least sit on my couch. Sorry, just had to whine. Carry on.

Yup, same here! There's so much pressure that it's hard to tell whether there's really anything there or not. Most of the time, not, and I end up wasting too much time in the bathroom.

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one! I feel like I'm about to shit LO out with all my straining! I was just in the private bathroom here at work and I had to take off my shirt because I was sweating so much. Not my finest moment.

I had some contractions on Tuesday and that's what they felt like at first. I can't remember if I ended up going to the bathroom or not. I figured it was probably not actual gas, but rather the contractions pushing my intestines around and causing the pain. My belly getting very hard was also a clue.

I'm having tons of rectal pressure, especially if I bend over or sit a certain way, but mine isn't labor related. It's just a giant baby girl smashing her head around my pelvic region. No productive contrax here, and cervix is still high, tight, and clueless.

So...it could be progress or it could just be baby positioning.
