Re: ~*~*PgAL Check-In*~*~
2. How is Pgal brain treating you? I'm better today after my first appt yesterday but in will still be worried until 12 weeks.
3. I had my 1st appt yesterday and we have a 6w fetus with a HB! I'm so ecstatic!
4. I would not switch professions. Although there is lots of stress in teaching, I love teaching and enjoy working only 180 days a year!
4) QOTW (Question of the week): On the heels of the Symptom Check-in GTKY - if you could switch professions, would you? If so, what would you do? (Nevermind any education required to do so. Just for fun!) Would LOVE to be a personal trainer if it paid well!! I have such a passion for fitness and healthy living that it would definitely be a job I was good at and enjoy doing all the time. I genuinely get excited for strangers when I see them making a commitment to a healthier lifestyle.
2) How is PgAL brain treating you? Awful- symptoms have disappeared on the 5 week milestone just like they did with my loss so I am convinced this one is doomed as well
3) Any important appointments/updates this week? Monitoring my betas till I reach 4000. If all keeps doubling I should get there by Friday and then they will scheduled an US. I was 617 last Friday so it seems like 4000 is a long ways away. My number topped out at 3989 at 29 dpo
4) QOTW (Question of the week): I wish I was a lawyer. It is Absolutely what I was meant to do but the cost of law school stopped me.
1) How far along are you? 6w4d
4) QOTW (Question of the week): On the heels of the Symptom Check-in GTKY - if you could switch professions, would you? If so, what would you do? (Nevermind any education required to do so. Just for fun!) I would love to be an Animal Humane Officer! Having the chance to save the animals from cruelty and punish those responsible would be very fulfilling. Alas, the pay isn't there!

4) QOTW (Question of the week): On the heels of the Symptom Check-in GTKY - if you could switch professions, would you? If so, what would you do? (Nevermind any education required to do so. Just for fun!:P) If money were no object, I would love to work at a plant nursery. I love growing flowers and veggies. Unfortunately, I don't think it would pay the daycare bills so I am an office manager at a car dealership.
4) QOTW (Question of the week): On the heels of the Symptom Check-in GTKY - if you could switch professions, would you? If so, what would you do? I'd be a write for a travel magazine and have to go to all these exotic places to do research!

@Mejin215 yay for hearing the heartbeat!!
@YaMrWhite Being a personal trainer would be awesome!
@CrazyMonkeyBear I don’t have all that many symptoms either and it’s making me crazy too. Hang in there!
@JerseyHopeful each week is a milestone after a loss so yay for 5 weeks! I’m sorry PgAL brain is so awful. Hang in there and Fx your levels reach that 4000 quickly!
@rmpar29 fx for good results on your u/s and b/w today! Let us know how it goes!
@jconno I hate when symptoms subside a bit, makes me worry too. But you’re right, it’s normal!
@rkargerja try to stop peeing on sticks, I think it might make you crazy. Could you call your doctor and ask them to monitor your hcg and progesterone? I get cramps too and that makes me so nervous but they’re normal.
@blazerbay I’m sorry your lack of symptoms is making you nervous. Mine are like that too.
@mmheartspb that’s great advice!
@luvinlifeMN I’m sorry your OB wouldn’t see you sooner
@KJsbabe fx for your u/s on Monday! What is a SAHM?
@laece I’m sorry you’re a mess. Hopefully your appointment will offer you some comfort.
1) How far along are you? 4w4d
2) How is PgAL brain treating you? Not too bad today. Earlier this week I had a dream that I was pregnant with twins but lost both of them. That messed me up for a few days. I'm also lacking in the symptoms dept and that tends to make me nervous.
3) Any important appointments/updates this week? I've been getting hcg and progesterone blood work done every other day starting last week and my hcg has a 24 hour doubling time which makes me really happy. With my loss my hcg levels were really slow rising. I'm waiting for more results today to see how my progesterone is doing.
4) QOTW (Question of the week): On the heels of the Symptom Check-in GTKY - if you could switch professions, would you? If so, what would you do? (Nevermind any education required to do so. Just for fun!:P)
I would have enlisted in the Air Force and served for a few years before settling down.
4) QOTW (Question of the week): On the heels of the Symptom Check-in GTKY - if you could switch professions, would you? If so, what would you do? I'd love to do ceramics professionally, since I did it for fun a while back, and was actually pretty decent at it.
4) QOTW (Question of the week): On the heels of the Symptom Check-in GTKY - if you could switch professions, would you? If so, what would you do? (Nevermind any education required to do so. Just for fun!) I would just love to be a stay at home mom. Not sure if that qualifies as a profession. LOL
4) QOTW (Question of the week): On the heels of the Symptom Check-in GTKY - if you could switch professions, would you? If so, what would you do? My current profession is as an editor, and I don't think I'd want to change my profession entirely, but I'd love having more interesting stuff to edit. I currently edit documents that circulate past my desk at least once a year... the same exact thing every time, and it gets boring. I think I might enjoy editing novels or non-fiction texts a bit more.

4) QOTW (Question of the week): On the heels of the Symptom Check-in GTKY - if you could switch professions, would you? If so, what would you do? (Nevermind any education required to do so. Just for fun!) I love teaching so I don't think I would switch professions.
4) QOTW (Question of the week): On the heels of the Symptom Check-in GTKY - if you could switch professions, would you? If so, what would you do? (Nevermind any education required to do so. Just for fun!) Nope. I'm a professor and love it.
Now we're waiting on our miracle baby ... a little GIRL!!!
How is PgAL brain treating you? I feel like a crazy person with all the paranoia but everything seems to be going well. I am trying to stay positive.
Any important appointments/ updates? I had an appointment this morning but it was pretty uneventful.. standard blood work and what not. 2 weeks until my next appointment.
QOTW.. I absolutely love what I do. Mental health counseling is rewarding, challenging, exciting, and inspiring. If only it paid a little better!
4) QOTW (Question of the week): On the heels of the Symptom Check-in GTKY - if you could switch professions, would you? If so, what would you do? (Nevermind any education required to do so. Just for fun!) I think I would become a midwife if I could change professions.
1) How far along are you? 4w3d, if my O date is correct, which it might not be but i'm reasonably sure it is. (i was sick a lot and had to throw out a lot of temps.)
4) QOTW (Question of the week): On the heels of the Symptom Check-in GTKY - if you could switch professions, would you? If so, what would you do? (Nevermind any education required to do so. Just for fun!) heh. what's your definition of "profession"? i'm an environmental engineer by training, but i've been out of work since before DS was born (nobody wants environmental engineers, apparently), so i'm a SAHM in practice. i guess if i could do anything i wanted...i don't know. work in an arboretum or state park? become a nutritionist? nurse? i have no idea. lots of things sound good. being a SAHM is great, but it's also kind of limiting and i feel like i need more out of my day. i feel terrible for saying that.

2) How is PgAL brain treating you?
Not so good today
3) Any important appointments/updates this week?
No in fact they called today to set up my paperwork apt and because I'm going out of town on the 23 till June 18th I won't get in till June 19th just for paperwork then I won't get bloodwork or an us or actual apt for 2 to 3 weeks after tht
4) QOTW (Question of the week): On the heels of the Symptom Check-in GTKY - if you could switch professions, would you? If so, what would you do? (Nevermind any education required to do so. Just for fun!) I'd love to be a midwife
4) QOTW (Question of the week): On the heels of the Symptom Check-in GTKY - if you could switch professions, would you? If so, what would you do? (Nevermind any education required to do so. Just for fun!) I would be either a midwife or a labor & delivery nurse.
2) How is PgAL brain treating you? Not so nicely. Good news is I passed my loss milestone. But, I still can't shake the dread. I'm trying to establish the "I'm pregnant today" mantra, but my subconscious brain keeps sneaking in. Still checking the TP for AF.
3) Any important appointments/updates this week? Nope. I haven't even called my OB's office yet. It's like I'm waiting for something to assure me this time is different before I call to schedule an appointment. Maybe I'll call this week...
4) QOTW: Aside from current profession as a banker, I would love to be a hairstylist. I've always wanted to have my own shop.
2) How is PgAL brain treating you? Trying to ignore that nagging voice in my head that says this won't work out, and embrace the 'Today, I am pregnant' mantra
3) Any important appointments/updates this week? I'll go in Friday for a confirmation preg test and set up my first appt.
4) QOTW (Question of the week): On the heels of the Symptom Check-in GTKY - if you could switch professions, would you? Probably be a librarian. A building full of books sounds just about as close to heaven as possible
