Dear Diary,

My H has been working both jobs every single day since last Saturday, I feel really bad because N misses him so much, but he only has time to come in, eat, and sleep a few hours before he has to go back out for work. He won't get a day off until Tues and my kid has been super annoying because she's bored in the house (bad weather) and she misses her daddy.

Aww, that is so frustrating. I don't like it when DH has to be away a lot. He has a business trip in July and I am dreading it!

DD- I am DONE with this weekend already. I still have work to do and I just want to go home. And I work tomorrow and have a double header tomorrow night, a baby shower I am skipping but still should buy a gift for, and a game on Sunday. Oh, and I am fully expecting CD 1 to be tomorrow. Who wishes for Monday to come???

So tough. When my DH was in his residency we would go 10-14 days some times only seeing him in the morning. It made ALL of us grumpy. Do you have other family around? I used to hire a babysitter just so I could go grocery shopping by myself.

My BIL, SIL and 2 year old niece are coming for a visit this weekend. Please please please don't let their be a pregnancy announcement from them, I just don't think I'm up for it (even though I would be super happy for them of course). I just need a break.

Not really. My grandmother is local, but she's too old

My neighbor took her for a couple hours the other day so I could go shopping, and yea.. it's pretty glorious. I just love the freedom of getting in and out of the car without having to put her in and out of the car seat

I hate Mother Nature. I'm sick and tired of the smoke and fires in my city/county. I shouldn't have had to explain evacuation to a 6 year old. And speaking of DD, I really wish her sperm donor would do everyone a favor and die. He served me with visitation paperwork after he's been a dead beat her entire 6 years of life. Added bonus, having some stranger serve me in front of DD. Well done, jackass. And I'm currently in the hate part of my love/hate relationship with the military because DH has been out in the field through the chaos.

@mommalawyer, when you say sperm donor, was it really a donor situation or is it more of a derogatory reference to your ex? Either way, your situation sucks, but I'm just trying to wrap my head around what's happening.

@Jodee37‌ and @GraceyandTroy‌ - Derogatory reference. Only because that's pretty much all he's ever contributed. (DH and I are actually considering donor sperm because of MFI- so that's NOT negative.) I can see how it could be confusing. That could also possibly be assholeish if someone thought I looked down on sperm donors/or using a sperm donor. I absolutely 100% didn't mean it that way. DD' "father" is a POS. He pretty much lost anything and everything visitation wise when he decided that drinking to excess and doing drugs was more important. This was when DD was just at 2. And even before that, not much "fathering." He is now upset with me, for who knows what reason, and this is how he gets back at me, by dragging me to court. He always loses, but it sets me into a tail spin. Cause it's stressful. I wish he'd just leave us alone. What minimal visitation he has, he screws up by not showing up, showing up late.... He has violated the court order countless times with respect to alcohol & drugs. And the kicker is that DD has come home numerous times crying because he and his new wife thinks it's ok to bad mouth me. Or thinking it's ok to go pee in front of her. Or force her to bathe in front of him. Or feed her food that makes her throw up. It's worth nothing that he didn't even put DDs correct name on the paperwork. How the hell do you not know your child's name? This child is my life. And knowing that I may not have another just makes me cherish her that much more. And I hate him. I really, really do.

@mommalawyer, I'm so sorry. All of that sucks. I'm sure now that she's getting older, she will be able to tell the courts what she wants. I'm not sure at what age the kid's opinion starts to come into play, but it's gotta be soon!

And I didn't think you were suggesting anything bad or wrong with donors, I just wasn't sure if it was a true donor situation that went really crooked! Good luck with everything. Hope you can keep calm and not let this stress ruin your life for the next couple weeks/months however long it takes to deal with.

@Mommalawyer‌ wow he sounds like a real catch. Sorry you are in this boat. Um, I'm scared to ask but how old is DD.? Should she be bathing in front of him? For you to write that makes me think you think it's inappropriate. Which makes my heart ache. How is it possible that he still has any visitation right if he is on drugs? Wow. I'm sorry this is happening. Too much stress. I had to take an ex to court and get a restraining order, and that was merely a week in my life. I was stressed to the max. I can't even fathom this. I want to hug you and DD.

@Jodee37‌ - DD is 6. He "claims" he's no longer drinking or on drugs. His declaration to the court claims he's "maintained continuous sobriety" for 4 years. Um no. The court ordered him to do a 1 year drug and alcohol program- didn't do. I've been permitted to request drug/alcohol tests, court order, which I have, he didn't comply. He's been court ordered to not have her around drugs/alcohol/ or cigarette smoke- again he hasn't complied with. Every time I bring up something concerning, that DD has brought up, his response is always I'm a "bitch" or I'm "out of line" or I'm "controlling and manipulative." It's beyond frustrating. DD is suffering because of him. Countless reasons. He routinely doesn't show up on time or not at all for visitation, yet he's trying to take ME to court? He's a special kind of stupid. Last year, he took me to court over child support. Cause he voluntarily quit his HIGHER paying job for a LESSER paying job. And he thought because I was getting married, he had to no longer pay....... Yet, he has money to get engaged, pay for a wedding, honeymoon, and trips, but no money for child support? Really?!?

Wow. He is a huge piece of shit. Can you have the court legally require him I provide a urine sample for drug testing? Like, he would have to show up and pee in the cup? This infuriates me

I am so sorry you have to deal with that POS. There is a special place in hell for people/parents like him. They don't care about their kids at all just punishing the good parent. If you cannot spell your daughters name you are a complete douche bag!
