To help cope with insomnia and restlessness? I lie in bed, some nights for four our five hours and just can't drop off. Also, I can't get comfortable. But it's not so much pregnant and can't get comfortable, it's more like my body *has* to move. My limbs will actually start twitching if I don't get up and adjust.

I have had on and off insomnia since I started my own business last year. I think it is related to the underlying stress. I am fine all day, but then some nights my brain wont shut the F off. It went away first tri, but came back last month I think. When I can tell it's going to be a bad night, I take a half of one 25mg sleeping pill (I use an off-brand, but it is the same ingredient as Benadryl which is considered safe) The actual dose is 2 pills, but even before pregnancy that would leave me groggy. So now I take 1/2 of 1 pill and most of the time it is enough to bump me over the edge into sleep. My Doctor okayed this at my last visit.
I sometimes get the urges to move, and a few nights ago I had it where I just could not freaking get comfortable, and that night the pill did not help. =(
