Baby Pistol's birth story

We showed up at 5:35 (5 minutes late oops) for the 7:30 RCS time. They walked me back a little after 7:30 and started the spinal. The anesthesiologist wasn't thrilled with how low my BP dropped so they gave me something to bring it back up. I never did hear how low it went but I was borderline passing out. Once that was under control the draped me up and brought DH in. They started cutting at 8:06 AM. I think they used less anesthesia this time, or I was more aware, as I could feel more than last time but still no pain though. We heard the beautiful cry at 8:13 and DH announced that we had another son. 2 boys. 16 months apart. I'm so excited to have a set of brothers!

@jenb_99‌ you wanted to hear how it went and it went great. My last dose of pain meds was at 10:47 and I only feel pain if I move wrong which I know will be like that for a while. Otherwise no pain right now. Which I got the shot of morphine when I was at a 2 but quickly approaching 3 so we could head off the pain. It worked. My legs and toes all have feelings back. DS1, has come in to meet his new brother and couldn't quit giving him hugs. It was so sweet. BFing has been going better this time as well. He has a great latch but we just need to get him to stay awake long enough to eat. I did puke twice this time compared to only once last time.
