heartburn releif???

soooo usually Zantac works like a charm but the last couple days my heartburn has been insane! I just chugged milk, had some toast, Zantac. nothing is working and I wanna throw up! anyone have any suggestions so I can possibly sleep tonight lol

    Tums tablets help with mild heartburn. My favorite for severe heartburn is Gaviscon tablets. They're super effective and amazingly fast, and my OB allows them. Plain seltzer water and ginger pills can help with the residual nausea.

    I have been pretty lucky and tums makes mine go away almost instantly! Vinegar may help but it sucks going down :/

    Try yogurt, if you have any. I usually pair it with Tums and prop myself up a little and it seems to work pretty well.

    Chewable papaya enzymes- you can buy at any health food store and apple cider vinegar- a good brand like braggs

    Milk was a no no it causes ur stomach acid to multiple and go crazy. It actually makes it worse

    Just wanted to say sorry...I feel your pain. Just shot bolt upright in bed withsome serious heartburn here and waiting for something to work before I get sick!

    My OB said to take one Zantac in the morning and one at night. If it gets really bad, she said take two in the AM and two in the PM. I haven't had to take 2 yet though.
