    Currently 11 fires burning. It has burned a few homes in Carlsbad. Fires from Oceanside all the way south to Lakeside. It's going to be another 100+ degrees today. Let's hope we get some type of containment.

    I have family in Carlsbad. My aunt just was saying how the fires are starting to calm down now. Lord I hope that's the case everywhere!

    Its so nasty hot down here and the winds are quite literally fanning the flames. I feel awful for the people who have lost their homes and who have been evacuated, and am anxious for the first responders because of the conditions. We're fairly well insulated by concrete and highways so I think we'll be alright where we are.
