anybody else's kid on an eating strike?

my garbage disposal son loves to eat. He can eat 4oz of puree in less than 10 minutes. the past 2 days he's been on an eating strike and it takes him longer to eat. I searched, and it looks like it's common at 9 months.

Ya kinda. I've noticed it,but the baby sitter hasn't said anything. Like this morning he barely ate his eggs and toast. He normally shoves it in his mouth hand over fist.

He's been doing the same amt of bottles/nursing so I wasn't too worried.

Ohhhhhhhhhh yes, denies almost every puree now... So we've gone to move finger foods, and its helped some, but she's being a BUM!

my mom just told me he ate the earth's best jar, but not the puree i made. little stinker

Yes! We do blw and she's hardly been eating. I thought it was the hot weather didn't realize it's typical around 9 months.

I've noticed he's been eating less lately, but I wouldn't say he's on strike. I'm curious if it will turn into that. Hope not!

Hopefully it ends soon @catskitch so you don't waste too much food!

Mine wants nothing to do with purées anymore. Only real food.

He's refusing purees, just playing with finger foods, and yesterday was a bottle short of his usual amounts, but I think he's making that up today.

Yup. Before he showed no interest in my food. Now I can't eat in front of him without him screaming for it. He will have nothing to do with the tons of frozen purées I have in the freezer for him.
