Peg Perego Book Pop Up

I don't see many reviews on peg perego, but I'm taking a serious look at this line bc of a pretty good deal we can get. The book pop up is coming out this spring but there are other book models out now so I assume they can't be all that different. Does anyone have one and what are your thoughts? Thanks!!

Hi there,

I'm not sure if you're still looking at strollers or not but I just purchased the Peg Perego Book Pop Up and I LOVE it!! I originally had my heart set on an UppaBaby Vista, but after playing with it in the store the opening/closing mechanism was too cumbersome for me. I also thought it was too big and bulky. Some people, including my husband, have no issue with the opening/closing (I've read numerous reviews that say you eventually get the hang of it) but I reasoned that I needed to be 100% comfortable with every aspect of the stroller (especially for $800)!

The Book Pop Up is SO easy to open/close and feels lighter than the Vista. The unfolded stroller is slighter than the Vista so I don't feel like I'm creating an obstacle course for everyone who passes me. The basket is smaller than the Vista's but that doesn't mean much since the Vista's is ridiculously big; the Pop Up's basket is a great size too. The bassinet is a bit longer and less wide than the Vista's, but it has the advantage of being able to be folded while on the stroller. Hope this helps!!
