baby baths

Now that LO's are getting bigger... what are you bathing them in? DS is getting too big (or rather, he doesn't have enough room to splash and kick) for the infant/toddler tub (see below) and the inflatable tub that I got brand new at a garage sale got a hole in it so we had to trash it. For some reason, I'm nervous to put DS in the tub without anything. I'm crazy right? Are our babies big enough for the big tub?

  • @jnsmith85 Genius.
I just put LO in the big tub and keep a hand on him at all times. The only times he gets crazy is when he goes after a toy that has floated away.

  • We use the Boon Naked tub which is suggested to work up to 18 months. It collapses and hangs up so perfect for our cozy space. I've loved but so far.
  • I've been doing the laundry basket in the tub for about a month now and it works great. Just have to watch him now because he tries to pull up to stand using the sides.

  • We use an inflatable tub. Got the cheapo BRU one. I like it. We leave it inflated because it's a PITA to blow up and just store it in the tub unless we're showering.

  • We use the big tub too. She's been sitting unassisted for awhile now. I bought a bath mat and just sit right there with her. Pic of cuteness for fun ;)image

  • Going to be buying a non slip mat soon to use the big tub. He stands in the baby bath and tries to climb out of it. Bath time isn't fun anymore lol ;-) too busy trying to keep him sitting.

I'm using this leachco tub https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00005CFA8/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?qid=1399938017&sr=8-2&pi=SX200_QL40

It doesn't store well because it isn't an inflatable and it takes more works to clean when he pooped in the tub the other night but overall I like it. He can sit up and lounge on a soft surface if tired or even flop to his belly and kick his legs which he started last week. I worry about him slipping in the big tub. Here is a pic of DS in it. image

We have this tub as well and it's great. It's not huge either!

This is us exactly. My kid tends to wet noodle and flop around in it though. My new trick is I out the plug side over the bath drain, sit him in the empty tub, and turn the faucet on a slow run so the tub doesn't get full fast (if it does I pull the plug and let it drain a bit). He LOVES the stream of water. He bats at it, sticks his face in it, tries to drink it. It's pretty cute. It gives me lots of time to scrub him down, and he has fun

  • Dd sits in the big tub w DS every night. She loves it. It's like her last hurrah before sleepy time.

  • We switched to the big tub. I need to get a spare laundry basket it though. We were using our whale tub fine for awhile and she would sit up and lean forward. Then she decided she needed to start rolling over in the tub, and leaning all the way forwrd in it and grabbing the sides to stand up in it. I decided we were done with the whale.

  • We use the big bath tub for all baths.  I fill it with a little bit of soapy water, and he loves it.  He sits up and splashes or lays on his belly and kicks and splashes.  I am always right there of course.

  • We still have an infant tub and it works fine for DS. He sits up in it just fine and everything. Once he does outgrow it we are doing the laundry basket. I already have a laundry basket that H and at hate so I will get us a new one and give this one to DS.
  • This is what we are using.  It says it is up to 24 months, but I'm not sure we'll use it that long.  We put this in our tub, which is a huge jetted one.  So I'm not really comfortable putting her just in the tub yet.

We use the real tub and have a bathmat, I just fill it up to his legs and he has a blast crawling after his toys.  It all depends on your baby's stability
    This exactly.
  • A2 HATES baths. Like, hates. I now fill up the tub with an inch of water and let her sit on her own while I bathe her as fast as I can. I am going to buy a duck tub tomorrow.
