Dave Ramsey?

Anyone do the snowball method from Dave Ramsey? We have about $2000 in debt right now. I just want to get it under control before it snowballs... no pun intended.

We are! We took his classes before we got married and we go on and off the rails. We're doing really well now and doing a modified snowball. We put my paycheck in a completely different bank account and pay off debt soley with that money. We also pay the regular payment out of our main account. My husband is self employed, so I want to draw as little money out as possible so the business side does well. If he has a good week, he'll give me some extra money. That is why I don't add the last payment to the current payment. We are doing so well having that money in a different account. And it really helps that we're both on the same page. DH is a spender and when he wants something, there's no stopping him. We have a lot of debt between vehicles, student loans and business loans, but we have somehow managed to pay off about $8000 since January when we started our attack.
