Bleeding

I am 5 weeks today and have been bleeding bright red blood since this morning. It's not a ton but not a little either. It hadn't really got on the panty liner but it's there for sure when I wipe. No cramping really just some lower back pain. I went to the dr this morning and the took blood go back Friday and hope my levels have gone up. In the mean time I am freaking out. Anyone has experienced this!?

    I had some spotting at 9 weeks.... and again just a few days ago at 11. 

    My MW sent me for an US at 9w2d.  All looked fine.  But I didn't like the second round of spotting (red) so I went to my Chinese doctor.  She was concerned and proactive.  So am getting acupuncture for a threatened miscarriage and taking a lot of herbs.  Western medicine does so little for women who spot and bleed... They tell us to take it easy.  But, I feel good about doing a little more than that.  Some studies show good results. 

    Fortunately my TCM doctor has had great luck with preserving a healthy pregnancy.    :)    Although she said if it is early, it is often a baby with chromosomal issues...  and that nature is just taking its course.

    Anyway. GL.  It is stressful.  :(

    FX for you that it will turn out to be one of the OK kinds of bleeding/spotting!

    Sending you sticky vibes as I went through that as well.  I was told that if it isn't red then its fine.  The brown dark stuff is old blood.  I hope everything is ok and keep us posted.

    I hope it's just irritation. Have you had sex recently? A lot of times, a woman's cervix is very friable/sensitive when pregnant and that can cause bleeding. 

    Just throwing out some other options to help you stay positive!

    I had bleeding around 7 weeks and again around 10 weeks and everything is fine. I'm now almost 20 weeks. Fingers crossed for you!
